This is a life long journey with bumps in the road. Everyday do your best. It is not healthy to always reflect on past mistakes. Focus on the here and now and your energy to change the now as best as you can. Dwelling on the past leads to not only depression but sabotage for your attempt this time and each day forward. That type of mindset sets you up for failure before you even start. Yes, learn from past mistakes thats how people learn, just don't get stuck in that rut...You got this girl! You can do absolutely anything you set your mind too. Which doesn't always have to be giving up/starting things all at once. Know yourself enough to make the type of changes each day you can be successful with permanently. If that is giving up one food item at a time so be it. Your in this for the long haul....Best wishes.
