No the sleeve used to be phase one for super morbidly obese people where a DS would be too dangerous. When they revise from sleeve to rny it's different and complicated. My reflux is much better since I found out in allergic to wheat (gluten) and coffee along with egg (my only did allergy I knew of at time of surgery). But it is a known side effect of VSG.
