I have a one cup batch of yogurt using Carolyn's original recipe in my little Salton. I'll let you know how it comes out. I never tasted the milk - it was warm for making the yogurt and I don't drink milk anyway, but it mixed up easily and I have high hopes for a new yogurt base.

Wow Ginny I never thought about what the drying process would do to the fats in powdered milk. Think I'll stick with the nonfat and adding fresh cream.
