Wow! It's been a long time since I posted. I remember taking a break because I had surgery on my feet. I had been doing 5:2 for the past three months with P90X and Turbofire as well as FitnessBlender videos here and there. I can feel the inches coming off on my waist and I am slowly gaining strength in my arms...my core strength is excellent!...but I still look chubby in pictures. :/ I went to a baptism a month ago and I wanted to hide in the corner because I didn't look good in pictures. My fiance kept reassuring me that I looked gorgeous but I sure didn't feel it. Anyways, my weight is the same as three months ago which confuses me. Maybe I am building muscle and it is giving me that "softball player" look.

6/18 197.6 TOM only up a bit so that's encouraging. Seem to be stabilizing after the FF and keeping my carbs lower. I am having more success with FF than JUDD. I will try again soon.

I've decided to take a vacation from the scale and measure the thing that really matters to me: the size of my fat rolls. My initial goal is to reduce my suprailiac skin fold by 1/3. I started at 22mm, and have seen it as low as 14mm after months of serious exercise/diet, so I think it is an achievable goal. I'm going to be reporting that measurment weekly, though I'm not sure it will change that often.

7/14/2016 suprailiac 22mm
7/21/2016 suprailiac 21mm (this could be measurement error, but I get fairly consistent readings)

I'm back to doing 4:3 starting today, after not doing any DDs since July 1 and regaining 10 lbs. My goal is to be a healthy 135 lbs. by the end of 2016.

Hey all,
I am trying JUDDD for the umpteenth time. This time my doctor believes he has found what's holding me back from losing weight so I am now on bioidentical estrogen and progesterone. I will weigh once per week.

I started JUDDD at 185 this time on September 6th.

September 10th, 2016 181.6 pounds

I've decided to take a vacation from the scale and measure the thing that really matters to me: the size of my fat rolls. My initial goal is to reduce my suprailiac skin fold by 1/3. I started at 22mm, and have seen it as low as 14mm after months of serious exercise/diet, so I think it is an achievable goal. I'm going to be reporting that measurment weekly, though I'm not sure it will change that often.

Terrific results, Beowulf. I so enjoy reading here to see how you're doing. How are you feeling? Do you check clothes sizes as well? I ask because I imagine your wardrobe must be getting kinda loose!

Thank you! I feel great now that I'm back in a good fasting rhythm. I strayed off plan due to travels and family stuff a few times in late August and September. I have way less energy when I go off plan.

My wardrobe hasn't changed much though I did just buy some pants one size smaller. I think I started with quite a muffin top, so much of the recent fat loss was just getting rid of the "overflow".

Enjoy your upcoming migration to Florida!
