Stay strong on the Stillmans Carly it works but I don't enjoy it either! I like my fat and veggies too much.

Wasn't it amazing? Even upstate it was lovely--I worked outside all afternoon, cleaning up the porch and the shed and starting to put the garden to bed. Colder tomorrow, they say, but then warm again. Fingers crossed! I'm not ready for winter yet!

Portia- I didnt touch a thing! had coffee and then worked up a sweat dancing with my kids. Sometimes parties are tough and sometimes I have no problem now had there been wine......... lol!

Leanne- totally agree about stillmans , I don't love it but it's a good tool to use to bust thru stalls!

Carly- the weather was amazing yesterday, almost felt like summer! Good luck with stillmans, I think 4-5 days will do the trick!

Melissa- thanks! I'm still blown away that I can even do no food dd's and that it's somehow easier! but I'm grateful I tried it and that it seems to be working so well!

Yesterday was definitely higher than an md but I did keep it LC and I'm only up .6, so I gained 1.6 lbs.......on Halloween weekend.......heck yea I'll take it! Success! even with the gain I made my October goal of 163 Novembers goal will be to hit the upper range of my goal weight 155 before my bday , November 25th! That's 25 days to lose 8 lbs, gonna try my hardest! As for my anxiety and depression it's gotten a lot better every day. I can sleep at least! And once I know everything will be ok I know it won't be an issue. Anyways my throat feels a little icky, like when you know you are about to come down with something gonna take vitamins and elderberry today to try and prevent it from taking hold! Happy Halloween Friends! Stay away from candy, it's the devil!

Yes. Candy is indeed the devil.

We have had a glorious day here in London today too. Something wonderful about warm sunshine in the Autumn. A blessing.

Gosh, last day of October already.

I can't believe it! Wednesday is my 1 year anniversary at this job. It's amazing that 1 year feels so much shorter than the dreadful 9 months at the previous job.

2nd day of Stillman's and going strong. DW said she wants to do Stillman's- who knows, I'll remain cautiously optimistic...

It's annoying when you have to go to the doctor so they can tell you what you already know just so you can get a referral to where you really need to be. Taking an hour off of work just to see a doctor for 2 minutes is so irritating. I know they need to do to keep the flakes out but - still.

I never pick the plan that requires referrals. To me, the extra cost is so worth the time savings as well as the co-pay savings.

I have my MRI tomorrow evening for this darn Achilles tendon, which has been hurting more today.

Frosty, agreed!

Hope the MRI produces useful information.

I've never had the choice. It's never really been an issue up until now, though.

I've had an issue with my shoulder for awhile now and was hoping it would heal up. It hasn't (and is getting worse) so I finally have to do something about it. I was pleased that the doctor didn't just tell me it's arthritis and give me a cortisone shot like I hear happens frequently.

The dumb part is that I have to go through physical therapy before seeing anyone in orthopedics but - hey, maybe it will work.

I tore my rotator cuff in 2014. I got cortisone/ lidocaine injections every 3rd month and it helped a lot. I thought it had finally healed completely because I hadn't gotten a shot in like 5 months, but wouldn't you know it started hurting again in the last couple weeks

I'm not sure why I tear so easily. My rotator cuff, my Achilles' tendon... I'm certainly not an athlete so it just baffles me. If I tear like this at 40 I'll probably fall to pieces before I turn 60
