What time do you weigh?

Now usually I weigh first thing in the morning, however over the years I've noticed that if I weigh myself around the 4-5pm before dinner mark then I've usually dropped in weight. Always on the day after a Down Day even if you've had a big breakfast and lunch (and is especially nice if you've been disappointed by the morning weigh in!).

As I work such early shifts I usually end up weighing myself about 5am and can sometimes still have that extra 2lb variation you usually see in the evening. Doesn't bother me anymore, but it's worth keeping in mind if you weigh early.

Isn't it crazy how much your body shifts over the course of a few hours?

Usually when I get home from work in the afternoon if I've fasted all day. Otherwise, in the morning.

I weigh myself around 6pm (sometimes much later, but whatever time it is when I get home from work.)

I too, get up early (around 4am) and my weight is usually 3 pounds lower later in the day. I think I retain quite a bit of fluid from the arthritis medication I take before bed and all day I release said fluid.

I weigh between 6 and 6:30 am before coffee. Sometimes I weigh at different times throughout the day as I find it an addiction of sorts. But I only track the morning weight....

I always weigh first thing in the morning, but I suspect that I actually weigh less a few hours later because when I've weighed at the doctor's 6 hours later (after breakfast and fully clothed), I am always the same weight or slightly less when I'd expect a slight gain at that time.

My own scale is accurate because I regularly calibrate it. Last week, I was hoping it was weighing me too high, but when I put my 14 lb sack of cat litter on the scale, it showed exactly 14 lbs:-) This week when I'm down, I'm happy to know it's an accurate weight

Another first thing in the morning weigher - as everyone notes tho' - it's consistency with the time of day that is helpful.
