Nobody hardly says anything to me either, because they are all thinking I might be "sick"...at least that's what I'm thinking. 76# for me and 50's were tight at Christmas. Now, a 42" waist is just almost too loose.

Several of us have had a great month. Some of us are just gonna hafta step up their game for June!

I need to get to work, or I'm going to have to write myself up for dawdling on the job!

Yep .... honestly though, I think I've done OMAD 95% of the time. I've just been not hungry and fairly busy, so I've tend to just have one meal more often than not.

If it's a chicken or fish day (but I do eat red meat A LOT .... I just bought 6 ribeyes that were marked down at the grocery store this morning) my calories tend to hover around 1000. And that's just because there's less calories in chicken vs steak - not that I'm trying to eat less. And I usually have some kind of veggie as well - or grilled onions & mushrooms on my steak ... yum. Like tonight I'll make green beans w/ sliced almonds to go with the salmon.

And yes - always under 20 carbs. Always, always, always ... there is only one time that I went over and that was at the end of Feb. for my husband's birthday. I had 3/4 of a huge fancy pants cupcake. Removing most of the carbs from my diet has definitely had the effect of removing 100% of my cravings for carbs and sugar. Heck, I have two Halo Tops (that I got for free) in my freezer and they've been there since the end of January. I haven't even opened them - and I really never even remember they're there. (They expire in 2018 though! Maybe I'll get around to them one day!)

Holly - Thanks for sharing. Great information! I never heard of Halo Top and went looking for information about it. Very interesting. I'm so impressed that you are able to avoid eating it.

We got my DD some new running shoes today. She did real well running today. Yesterday she got stitches so bad that she wasn't able to run the whole 5 min. We had to stop off and on. She says that she has been tired since she started. It'll get better the more she does it. I'm proud of her.

I almost forgot my favorite thing!!

I have sugar free jello and whipped cream every single night ... I'm not even joking. I think I've only missed having it 1 or 2 nights since February.

So according to the data, it takes my body ten days to equalize after a day of off plan eating. In the future, if I am considering a day including higher carbs I need to ask myself if I am willing to push the pause button on my weight loss for ten days. If yes, have at it. If no, skip it.

Trish...Good advice. I'll have to try that. It takes a week to 10 days for me to recover from a bad day too. It's NOT worth it.

Stan...OMAD and around 20gm of carbs (or less) is what works for me. When I cave later in the day, that's what messes me up. I MUST stop caving.

Holly...What a GREAT month you have had. KUTGW and inspire me and Terri.

Been doing well the past few days. I'm getting back into my running and I'm feeling really good. I don't have anything to show for this month, but I'm still here. I really think that a lot of my problem is snacking on too much junk even if it is low carb and eating after supper. I am trying to stop that.
Running this morning was a bit more trying than it was yesterday and the days before. Some days when I run I feel great and some days it's a struggle, but I'm still keeping on. I am hoping for better results in June. Y'all have a great Wednesday!

I'm bummed. Ordered a new scale yesterday on Amazon Prime and thought it was coming today. Just checked tracking and turns out it won't be here until later tomorrow.

My old scale told me I was 204 today though. I'm hoping that means I lost a pound since the erroneous weight of 205 yesterday. (Also , deep down inside I'm wishing for some freak miracle that makes that my true weight that will also show up on my new scale. Pretty sure my clothes would be falling off if that were the case. )

Congrats to Sammi who has endured a month long stall - but at a new low weight! Meaning, you didn't let it get to you and you stuck to plan regardless. Very impressive. Way to go Sammi - You'll be losing again soon.

Congratulations to Curvy, Bloodhound, AmyLynn and Susan for some great solid weight loss this month - Way to go ladies!!

And congratulations to Terri, Judy, Tami and Laura, who despite some gains and/or struggles here and there, continued to come here and post and not give up. You are really my inspiration and the reason I can keep coming back and also not giving up after my fails.

You all rock and I'm so happy you are here! Can't wait to see what June brings for our smaller, healthier bodies.

Such a great post, KitCat!

I didn't know this tiny corner of the weight loss world would become a place of belonging for me.....but it has become just that. And it is very important to me. YOUR presence helps me.

And what you said about those who struggled in May but STILL DIDN'T QUIT..... Still posting every day, still pushing onward.....there is no substitute for that level of commitment.

Tomorrow is new month and a new start.

Let's get after it!

May 1 weight was 212.2. June 1 weight is 206.4. May loss total = 5.8. I nearly killed myself at the gym last night doing 4 miles on the elliptical and 3 on the treadmill, but I wanted a strong finish for the month.
