Good morning Blitzers!

Tony, so far at 3 am it looks like we only got around 5 or 6 inches of snow. How about your side of the state? I won't be going out of the house today but hope parking lot and sidewalk are clear at church tomorrow! Can't wait to see my brother and sister in law from Georgia even if it will only be for a couple of hours.

I was very faithful doing what the therapist recommended while at home and DH says I am walking more normal already. Will do the same today.

Will check back later to see what everyone is up to today! Have a great day gang!

Good morning.
ABI that is a lot of snow, we have been hitting the 80's here. I think middle Georgia is in for a hot summer.
Glad things are progressing well with your leg.
FF thank you for starting and keeping the Blitzers going!
Now off to work.

Happy April Fool's Day! How am I going to get the kids this year? They're still asleep, maybe I should wake them up and tell them we're going somewhere.

The goal for this Blitz is 25 pounds, I made 21 for the last one, So if I put a little effort in to it, it can happen. Instead of taking the elevator at the parking garage, I'll take the long way, and I don't mean the stairs, they usually smell like pee! There's never much traffic in the garage, so I'll walk the way the cars go. That's the plan, we'll see what happens Monday morning

Food today will be coffee, coffee, and coffee. Other than that, I'm not hungry at the moment, but I do have leftover burgers plus stuff for salads.

On my 4th cup. Putting out a whole palette of Easter candy. I am ready for Easter to be done.
Going to get the essentials done and see if I can knock off early. My eye is really bothering me today. Started a new steroid yesterday..if nor better by Tuesday she may do something else.
Chris 21 lbs is amazing! !

hi guys, in 6 days i will celebrate 7 years in these blitzes...i have tried to post several times a week during all of those seven years, and with a few gaps of 5 or so days off, i have done that...i am not anywhere near my goal but i have never been as heavy as the day is started here and that, in itself, is a victory and major accomplishment...i could not have done it without the support i have gotten from you guys and the many others who have passed through these blitzes...THANK YOU SO MUCH!

chris, i would not bet against you losing 25 lbs. in the next blitz - you are doing amazing things these days! :-)

abs, i'm guessing 6-8 inches here so far...6-8 inches too many, i might add!...abs, i'm proud of you being diligent about your pt...it will pay off and is the main reason i was able to recover so quickly from my hip surgery...good for you...are you going out for breakfast tomorrow?

ff, sounds like a fun, relaxing day ahead...what's for dinner?

lynn, i'd give my left ....ummm....for one 80-degree day right now...hahaha

wonder if tammy headed north to see sarah this weekend?

just finished up a mediation, now it is off to the building to meet another prospective tenant...later!

Tony, we plan to go to the country club to make sure there will be enough room for any family that can make it. My brother and sister in law from Georgia are here for a few days. They fly back tomorrow and I haven't seen them yet because of the storm. Fortunately they will be back in June to get their cottage ready at Lake Winnesquam.

I'll be glad when Thing 1 gets a driver's license, he's at a bon fire and needs picked up at 11. That's more than 2 hours past my bedtime! And I'm pretty sure the old man is already asleep, he finished up the roof today and is worn out. He was watching the games but at last check he had gotten comfy and took his glasses off. I'll let Beeping Sleauty sleep!

Thing 2 went shopping with me, he needed things for his DC trip this week, new shoes, a few new shirts. He found one that says "real men wear pink" with the breast cancer ribbon on it.

I didn't eat much today, few pieces of cheese, then a burger for dinner, I wasn't hungry. Tomorrow's plan is only laundry, I did the rest of the house today.

Have a good one!

Chris, that is rough to have to stay up past bedtime to pick up Thing 1. But nice to let DH sleep after a hard day.

Ha ha, FF, that was a good one!

Have a great day gang!

Happy Sunday! Currently enjoying coffee and Casey Kasem from 3/29/75

Gage had a good time at the bon fire last night, spent most of his time fishing their pond. And he and John took the boat out this morning, dorks, too cold!

Today will be breakfast sometime, whenever the guys get back I'll start it. Shrimp and riced cauliflower of some creation for lunch/dinner, depending on when breakfast is, I think I'll make it cheesy, and garlic of course.

I guess I'd better start laundry. Enjoy your Sunday! And Lynn, can you send some warm weather up this way please?!

Tony, there were 13 of us there. We pushed two round tables together so we could see the whole gang at once. I really enjoyed watching my two brothers at the far table laughing away. My brother that lives in town is driving west with a buddy tomorrow. They will be in Arizona and Utah eventually camping and hiking along the way for two weeks.

Tony, glad you finally got to see Salvatore with his eyes open. I bet he will look so much like his sisters!

Lynn, I love peanut butter balls. How do you make them low carb with chocolate chips and peanut butter? I'd love the recipe! Lynn, what is the problem with your eye?

Chris, I need to pick up some the frozen cauliflower rice and mashed cauliflower. I have made both from scratch but it would be so nice to have some already made on hand.

No Tony, no ice on the lakes, this winter never got cold enough. Maybe a paper thin sheet at the banks occasionally, but no ice fishing.

Lack of sleep, my own fault for the Walking Dead. I even ignored the alarm. I'm glad coffee is free at work, I'm going to need it today.

Today's food, half a pepperoni and cheese smoked sausage thing, the other half is with the shrimp and riced cauliflower leftovers (gonna pretend it's jambalaya), not sure for dinner (I forgot what I bought for this week!). I brought a bag of Brazil nuts to work in case snackage is needed any time. Thank goodness they're already shelled, they are a pain in the butt.

It's a few hours later since I first started this post, I thought I was going to have a come-apart at work, we were out of coffee! But luckily there was some stashed in the supply closet, it could have been ugly!

Not much else happening, it's been the usual busy Monday. Later.

I spilled my whole cup of coffee in the new car that was detailed..on my way to work late too. They didn't count me late though..they messed up my schedule.
My eye seems to be responding to the new steroid drops. I am calling the surgeon this week and set up the surgery. I will also tell them the specialist has not called yet.

I will post the cookie dough recipe when I get home from work.

Just some wind and rain. They did "release" us back to work. Turned into great reading weather for the new book I started.
Ok..the recipe
1/4 cup peanut butter
1/2 brick cream cheese
1/2 cup almond flour
1/4 cup SF chocolate chips
1/4 cup splenda or sweetener of choice and more or less for your taste
Soften cream cheese and peanut butter in microwave. Mix well then mix in almond flour and sweetener. Make sure mixture is cooled down before adding chocolate chips or they'll melt. When everything is mixed put in fridge until cool enough to roll into balls.
You should be able to get 14..which would be a little less than 2 carbs a piece. I got 12..cause I sampled..Lol. 12 would be 2 net carbs. Keep in fridge or freezer.
The carb count is based on the products and amounts I used..so just read your labels. Next time I will probably up the peanut butter.

I'm glad all is well. And that recipe sounds awesome!

Currently sitting at school, Thing 1 stayed later than normal for baseball practice. Jamming to Guns N Roses, I bet they can hear it too

Dinner was cheese chips from provolone cheese slices and too much asparagus, drizzled with oil, sprinkled with salt, pepper, garlic, baked, then drizzled in garlic butter. Freaking yum! I did manage to save some for the old man. Barely. And a few bites of smoked sausage and green beans, impressed I didn't touch the potatoes in with them.

Later!

Hi guys!!!

Oh my gosh I can't believe that it's April already!! Ok, my goal for April is to get BACK ON TRACK and back into Ketosis!

Tony, Yes we did head up north to see Sarah, and it was wonderful....that little girl is so awesome!! How much fun you must have had to have a THREE grandbabies at your place....I'm sure the girls must be loving their new brother!!

Vicki, welcome back!!! You and I can both get back on track together!!

Marilee, you've got this.....you're doing so great, a few ounces here and there aren't so bad!

Abi, I am so over winter....I can't even imaging getting that kind of snow! I'm glad your knee is healing so nicely!

Lynn, That cookie recipe looks awesome!!! I'm totally going to have to try that! What book are you reading?? I just love to read....but I never have time.

Chris, I love asparagus....one of my favorites! You know, it never occurred to me to use cauliflower for Jambalaya....that's a pretty good idea though!

FF, I'm amazed that it's been 7 years since you started these blitzes....that's really impressive! I'm so very glad you did....I just really love this group!!

Ok kids, I think I'm pretty close to hiring an assistant....hopefully that helps ease some of this insanity and I can get back to "normal" whatever that is!!

Have a great evening!

hahaha, tammy, i wish i had a nickel for every time you thought you had found an assistant!...i'd have at least 10-cents! :-)

chris, the ice fishing around here wasn't great either...open water most of the season...anything with cream cheese is good!...you make me happy that i never drink coffee!

abi, that sounds like a wonderful breakfast gathering...i think it says a lot about you that your favorite part was watching your two brothers laughing...you are such a sweetie!

ff, if you were warm today, i don't want to even think about what it will be like if spring ever arrives...

lynn, i'm so happy you didn't experience another disaster over there...sheesh!...hope the eye feels better soon!

crazy day today and even worse tomorrow and wednesday...i didn't schedule anything for thursday as it is emmy's birthday...three of the kids are not available, so we will celebrate on thursday and sunday...

I slept so good last night, didn't even need to tinkle, so why do I feel like crap?! Puffy eyes, dark circles under them, I just wanna crawl back in bed. The old man even watched the game in bed and I slept right through it.

No clue on food today, not hungry and nothing sounds good. I make just take some eggs and have scrambled ones for lunch.

Tammy, just spice up the riced cauliflower and add the meat for jambalaya, onions, green peppers too if I have them.

Hi everyone!!

Tony, I know right?!?!?! It's been a long tough haul for sure!! But guess what???? I hired an assistant manager today!!!!!! He passed the skills assessment, his references were excellent, and as long as he passes the drug test and background screening he starts next week....I'm SO excited!!!

Chris, Are you coming down with a bug?? Take some extra Vitamin C and get some rest....there's tons of crud floating around out there!

How's everyone else doing?

I'm good here....excited that I finally found an assistant, and edging my way back on plan.

Good Morning! Again, slept so good, but am tired, I don't get it.

Thing 1 has his first baseball game of the season today, high of 67-ish with thunderstorms, so it may get postponed. Thing 2 needs to pack for his DC trip when he gets home today, bus leaves tonight at 10pm. They drive all night and then start sightseeing first thing in the morning. That has to suck.

Coffee; eggs, sausage, cheese; salad. Brazil nuts if needed. I know I'll need some Exedrin around noon, my least favorite clients will be in for my notary stamp. Maybe if they weren't so loud and didn't lie about everything. I have 6 sets of couples as clients, out of 72.

Thing 2 picked out his classes for next year, he'll be a freshman, his 3 that are his choice are band again, art/shop (a semester each), and French (this I can help him with!). They placed him in honors English, integrated physics, I can't remember what else. He got his smarts from the old man that's for sure!

**SIGH** It's only Wednesday?
