Wonderful, and the pants don't lie!! Nor do the bras.

I put on a shirt today that when I first bought it was a little loose, but you could still see my tummy poking out (you know what I mean!) I put it on today and it hung flat in the front! In fact...I think it may be too big!

Such an fun thread. Mine has everything to do with the scale, dropping some pounds. Story goes like this.
I had put my paint jeans-work jeans a year ago or so into the rag box. I would cute them up someday for a cleaning up mess or something.
I saw the rag box other day and thought of the jeans, they use to be a good fit very comply jeans. I slide them on and they fit!
I washed them and pulled them on this am....and boy do I have a smile on my face.nice fit.
I have a garden meeting tonight, I just might wear them this evening paint stains and all
A stranger would never think at one times these jeans were busting at the seams
Thank u JUDDD

Yes, Eieio, proudly wear those jeans!!

Mine happened on Saturday when I blew through my closet tossing all my dumpy, big clothes.
I got to the back of the closet and there hung my wedding dress in it's dress bag (I never preserved it)... should I or shouldn't I?
Well, I did - and it fit!
This dress is very fitted down the middle, looong train and puffy but fitted sleeves.
I have no idea what I weighed on my wedding day - only that I don't weigh any more than that now! 25 years later!
I do remember that I was at one of my lowest weights on that day.

Awesome NSV's ladies!! Love the image of the retro wedding dress--that still fits!

Ei, if I had some small jeans that fit well, I'd wear them with paint spatters or no!

I just thought of one. On Sunday, we were out and about and came across a Lucky Brand Jeans store. I've never been in one (I'm a Levi's girl), so I decided to pop in and see what they're like. Well the salesperson convinced me to try a few pairs. I told her I'm usually a 6-8 depending on the brand. She brought me a couple of pairs of 8s to try, saying they run a little small. The 8s were pretty big and did nothing to flatter my shape, so I didn't even try on the 6s. So my NSV is that I don't need semi-expensive jeans to make my butt look good. Levi's do just fine.

Lovely one, Dawn! I'm glad to hear that. I'm a Levi's girl too, and they cost enough themselves. Worth it when they make your butt look good!

Good on you!! They definitely run small, an 8 is more like a 6.

I bought a "size 10" from a second hand store for $5, they didn't fit back then even though I was fairly close to an 8 but now they're loose.

Such a good thread! The painted pants sound so cute! Love the wedding dress story too! And I can't wait until I'm small enough to even walk in a Lucky Jeans store! I think the biggest size they carry is a 12 right? (Which is probably a 10) I was looking at pics from 10 years ago when I was a size 14 and thought I was fat (I'm 5'10) man I looked SKINNY! LOL! Right now I'm a size 18, sometimes I can fit 16 like in Old Navy Jeans. My first mini goal is a size 14 by the first day of spring, 6 weeks. I know I just need to get a little more focused and I can make that happen!

I realized today that I've been at or below goal for a year now.

I also had a not so great NSV, but NSV nonetheless in the laundry room tonight. So I leaned over the top loading machine to get the wet clothes out and I smashed my hip bone into the machine. Man, that hurt, but just last week there was more padding there since I'm sure my laundry technique hasn't changed. It must be the exercise paying off since scale weight is still 124-122. I feel smaller so I know the gym is helping.

I remember having to carry a big cardboard box when I first lost weight with LC, and getting home with bruised hip bones where the box had been hitting them when I walked. Definitely a mixed sort of victory!

I wore jeans to work on Friday... Size 12 jeans I bought at Goodwill a few months ago... By the end of the day, I could pull them off my hips without unbuttoning them!

Saturday I "shopped" at Mom's house. I brought home several pairs of size 10 jeans, and one pair of size 8 dress pants!

NSV today: I wandered around Reitman's in the plus section like I usually do, just for tops anyway, and the gal was helping me a bit... I tried on 3 tops (1x) and nothing was looking good. The girl goes - are you sure you're a 1X? and she got me an XL from the normal section and it looked so good! I was happy! I didnt even know I was an XL...I bought it, and it was on clearance too

dare I hope I can buy from the normal section???? wow!

also tried on some other pants I had today, got them on, zipped, and buttoned! were a little too tight to wear but I was still happy, because I didn't think they would do up but I was going to be ok with that...
