Mariposa* so looks like you got your exercise in every day .

I was just told by my podiatrist that walking on a treadmill is the worse thing for my feet. My toes go numb, when I walk any length of time . Heck I'm laying in bed right now and my toes and the back of my legs are just tingling . He is doing a circulation test the first week in November, he says if that doesn't show anything . I just got to live with it. I beg all who will hear don't wait till you get too old. Take care of yourself NOW. Don't trade your life and happiness away for the proverbial crumb of bread. Ok off my soap box!!

I had Drs. appointments all this week but, I will be doing exercises in the pool. Starting next week . I will never give up or give in , I'm in it for the win!!!

When I read the first part of your message, I was going to suggest exercising in the pool! I love exercising in the pool.

Well , how's everyone ? Ok peeps would be nice to hear from ya'll.

I haven't gotten on the scale but , i can tell by my clothes I'm losing inches . I know I will be upset if it doesn't show a loss so I'm just going to keep on eating right and going by the fit of my clothes. I'm afraid that a medication my Dr wants to suggest I go on makes you gain weight . I'm just hoping I don't have to end up taking it.

I'm doing well... several weeks (6th?) into being in ketosis and walking at least 10k steps.... I walk to work, walk at lunch and walk back home. I am going to TRY to go to Zumba... it is free at my apartment complex.

Nice to see people posting from time to time. Don't generally have much to add to the conversation, except to say that 5 years later I am still so happy with my sleeve. My eating isn't always perfect, and I need to always be mindful, but it's still way better than weighing 293 pounds

My doctor emailed me (KP app) this morning saying that my TSH levels are indicating slight hypothyroid and since there is a chance I could get pregnant (not "trying" per se but not preventing and aware of ovulation times etc, and I am almost 40 so it might not even happen) so she wants to see my TSH below 2.5 so she is putting me on a subscription and will retest in 6 weeks

Maryposa ** Wow, I don't know much about hypothyroidism, does that make losing weight harder? For yourself I hope that's not the case cause losing it is hard enough as it is when you are older. Well hopefully it will make you feel better with your new meds. Oh and I do hope you will one day have a baby if that's your wish .

Well as for me, I have lost 30 1/2 lbs since July 12th. Considering I haven't done any exercising it's not too bad. Well I feel so encouraged and I am more motivated than ever to try and lose 8 lbs by Thanksgiving . Next I would like to be at or under 150 lbs.its doable but, only if I buckle down and get my butt to the gym .

Jesse good to "see" you thanks for the update.

Please keep us updated and all other previous posters, let us know how you are doing..

Yes joyful being hypothyroid does make it hard to lose weight. But I'm still walking 10k steps most days, low carbing, taking vitamins and toughest of all (for me) NO GRAZING (don't really snack anymore)

tea latte and a protein shake (some mornings) for breakfast, and a low carb lunch and dinner is where I'm at. I think this is week8? No idea how much I've lost

Sometimes I just get so glad about my surgery... 7 years and 8 months later... I still get full on one small chicken thigh and 3 Brussels sprouts

Maryposa☆ after6 yrs if I eat slowly and mindfully 4oz to 6oz are all I can eat ,depends on what am eating or drinking. It really surprises me cause I have over ate to the point of hurting. . I am thrilled that I still have restriction.

My restriction is still great after 5 1/2 years too! It really works with protein, and can even slow me down with carbs.

Well I am really going to push from now till the end of the year, I have my husbands office party on the 7th .I really would like to be 20lbs lighter this may seem like a lofty goal but, I haven't really been getting protein water etc,nor actually exercising . I figure if i do two protein shakes and a meal of fish etc drink the water and actively getting some exercise i should at least come close , I really need to give it my all. I'm tired of my ***** footing around it is time to get this thing done. I haven't been eating badly just not getting the proper amounts of macros and not drinking water or moving my butt.i have back issues and need. surgery so i guess its been an excuse but, I'm getting an injection so hopefully I can get some relief. Hopefully I will be able to have more mobility.which will help me burn some calories . Well i hope every one doesnt let Thanksgiving or Christmas dter them and drag them of course, its so not worth the extra lbs. are the heaps of shame ,guilt , or negatively that you will feel afterwards. Keep strong peeps!!

For thanksgiving dinner I had turkey and that's it lol
But a few hours later I had Cheri's low carb pumpkin cheesecake. I made it a couple years ago too. Even the non low carbers (everyone else) love it. Sooo good!

Hello all, can you believe it is December? Sheesh.
Also, kind of sad to see in all of 2017 we only have a couple of pages... at one point in time we were active enough to make a new thread every month. Ah well. it is nice to hear from those of you who do still post
