I have been known to spread (or dip) mayo on cheese. In my carby days a cheese and mayo sandwich was one of my favorite things.

I use to eat those too! I must try adding some mayo to my cheese - it suddenly sounds good!

I used to eat cheese and mayo sandwiches, too, but never thought to use mayo as a dip for cheese. Good idea!

I would say the top food I most enjoy while doing keto is 1. drinking my perked coffee in the morning! Have at least 2 cups a day, with heavy cream, coconut oil. 2. Eat 2 semi soft boiled eggs that keep me going all day! 3. Cheese, can'the live without it. 4. Butter! I have discovered that butter helps keep me full. I am working on putting more good fats into my diet. There is still a fear there, but I am ignoring it and doing my research to stagnate that fear of eating fat! I do take a supplement after each meal to suppress my aptitude, 3x day... CLA femine 80. Really helps keep those cravings at bay! Keeping the protein moderate and the carbs low as possible. I too have struggled with emotional eating all my life. That is why I removed all the junk out of my home. 😊 mind you it took a while.

Keto diet is brand new to me. Before that, I detoxed from sugar, which took a good 4 months! I was losing a pound, or 1/2 a pound per week which was very slow going. Ugh! In total on my LCarb journey I have lost 27 lbs. From 208- 181 today. It has not been easy by know means, but I am glad I found Keto! 😊

Hope this helps 😊

Has anyone tried sour cream/lemon/olive oil as a dressing on your keto salad? It's good! 😊

spinach-avocado-coconut cream-keto approved nut butter-fiber powder-MCT oil-sometimes blueberries (very little) with Pyure and unsweetened almond milk-smoothie. I am seriously addicted.

Also kale soup. I don't care what protein I add as long as kale is in it.

I may grow out of it but leafy greens are LIFE right now!

I need to update my fave as I don't drink keto coffee anymore - at least not the type with added fats. My current fave is eggs poached in h.m. bone broth.

As soon as I finish my MCT oil (this week) I'm going to give the keto coffee a break, too. I've got to do something differently because I'm getting the same result.......no change.

It is interesting having drank keto coffee for literally years and then to switch to just coffee. It is has been a least a couple of months now. It has made no difference either on the scale, appetite or in terms of energy. It is like it was a wash. I am lazy enough that I prefer the 'less work' option of just coffee.

I do like keto coffee and probably will have it occasionally. Clearly, I don't 'need' it.

Interesting. I still add some fat to my morning coffee, sometimes black with a nibble on cheese. I often drink my second cup later in the day just black. I have always been a breakfast person (mostly eggs or leftovers), so I never needed the added fat to stave off hunger. But keto coffee all frothed up is an indulgent treat.

Eggs are still my favorite one food.

I ordered another bottle of MCT oil after my little keto coffee break. I didn't realize how much it was helping in the constipation department. I was still taking my magnesium supplement and eating the same amount of vegetable fiber and started having issues......but not anymore. That alone is worth the trouble and I do enjoy it, too.

Are you using the MCT oil for making bulletproof coffee?

Is there any certain kind of MCT oil that I should buy or all of them the same?

Cindy, I usually use NOW Sports brand. Typically I mail order and opt for multiple bottles to get a break on postage. I've noticed in the last year or so it's easier to find locally, so who knows if I will continue to mail order. The other day I noticed liquid CO by Crisco. That surprised me. It was not labeled MCT. It was infused with garlic so I wasn't tempted to buy as I don't want garlic flavored coffee!

Cindy.....the only kind of MCT oil I buy is one with a pump! Other than that it doesn't matter to me. It's just too messy without one!

Thanks I will have to see if I can buy one with the pump as I know what you are saying about it being too messy.

I am using 2 different kinds one is supposed to be a brain octane coconut oil which is supposed to boost your energy and mental clarity, just do a google search on bulletproof blog and you should find it.

I am not sure if I have noticed any difference but will keep using it for a couple of months, it's more expensive so I really hope it's helping
