Silly question.....Can you substitute Splenda for coconut sugar when baking? Also, what if a recipe calls for bot coconut sugar AND sweetener?

Timamy~Yes, you can substitute Splenda. I use Splenda all the time when I bake. I also substitute Torani SF Syrups for regular syrups.

Hello Low Carb friends.
Todays lunch paired with a nice little green salad.

Japanese thin sliced egg plant cooked in a little oil, onions and bacon! Sooo good!
Enjoy

Sorry, I am just seeing this, I have to be better about logging in! I just purchased the Mahler's bread you posted about earlier! I've not had bread in three years, I can't wait to try it!

The lobster is Langostino's Lobster Tails, I purchase them at Wegman's (the only store on the North East that seems to have them). I make low carbing as easy as possible!

a thousand thanks for the Mahler bread data.

I called them. $20.00 minimum purchase, and $11.99 s & h. still mulling it over. but 1 net gram per slice. that is very tempting. they do not ship to Bklyn retail food stores. I will come to a decision on Monday. How does it taste? I regret to say that I do not know how to submit fotos. this weekend, I will be making crabcakes for the 1st time. I believe with or without a foto, they will look like crabcakes. Love & Profits: FLATFERENGHI

Good morning all! Sorry I've been MIA, we just had the snow storm of the century here in UpState NY! I am sampling the attached bread for the first time, it is funny, I've been lowcarbing for over 20 years and have never ventured out to try any of these foods (premade breads, etc.) but what the heck! As long as it is not frankenfoods, I'm in.

So the texture is a bit spongy, but I like the taste, granted this is the first time I've had bread in two decades...not really, I've had my 'bad' days...but this is the first time I am purposely eating a sandwich!

Sorry, guys, I can't remember how I posted that picture of my salad...hints...
