Favourite LCHF Diet Book - Need a Reference so I can buy for a friend

Good evening everyone

Can anyone give me a recommendation for a good LCHF diet book, I would like to purchase it from Amazon if possible and have it delivered to a good friend for Christmas.

She is very interested in this eating plan and wants to start in the new year.

Any suggestions would be welcome.

I'm new here, but been doing ketogenic WOE for a few months now. And I read a lot! If she wants to know more about the science background, I recommend:

The Art and Science of Low Carb Living by Jeff Volek and Stephen Phinney
Why We Get Fat by Gary Taubes
Keto Clarity by Jimmy Moore and Dr. Eric Westman

If she wants to get inspired by beautiful recipes and lovely pictures:
Quick and Easy Ketogenic Cooking by Maria Emmerich (this also has menu plans for different needs ie. weight loss, maintenance, other health reasons to do leto).
The Ketogenic Cookbook by Jimmy Moore and Maria Emmerich, similar to above

Those are my faves so far...

Agree with the above. Atkins is not a bad start either. It is an actual plan and that might be useful for a newbie. The first 2 wks. are all about getting into ketosis. Also don't forget to advice chicken broth for the relieve of carb withdrawal!!!

I really like Why We Get Fat... And What To Do About It by Gary Taubes as well as the above mentioned.

Am also a big Maria Emmerich fan, and her book Keto Adapted is informative too.
