WEDNESDAY'S ROLL CALL, Jan. 4

Babette, I'm sorry you and John are going through so much stress with all of these concerns all piling up upon you! Even if you don't move, it probably is a good idea to go through your stuff, you don't want your son left with that chore. I'm going through stuff here now myself, it is so danged time consuming! Hope you can sleep!

It's getting steadily colder here, windy, and I just crawled into the warm flannel sheets to warm up, tv is on in here.... should fall asleep soon.

Good night, friends.

Another snow day up here! Everywhere is so pretty again with the fresh snow. Yesterday even with the freezing rain by nightfall every thing was glistening in the light of the lawn lights, the bare trees were ice coated, weird yet somehow pretty.

I don't feel like going out today. I did want to do a couple of errands but they can wait. It is garbage day pick up today. I don't know how I will get my bins to the curb the driveway is so slippy. Oh well it won't matter if I miss for a week, everything is frozen in the bins anyway. Ha!

Doris, Did you manage to plow through the dishes? I find the sorting stuff tedious more the reviewing reading to decide to keep or to ditch. Making decisions is mentally tiring I find.

Julie, How wonderful of that friend reaching his 100th birthday. I wonder if any of us will reach that age. But no free car for me every two years. Ha! Lucky guy!

Ginny, One more day to 'cast day.' Let the healing begin. Glad you managed to catch that HGTV show. I looked online it's not there yet.

Babette, Oh my lots going on to drain you. Sending you big gentle hugs.

Yes, Loretta, I am officially retired now. No need to get up and out the door on bad weather days. Yay! I am looking forward to being a kept woman...pension checks and the like. Might take a month or so. I will await patiently.

Hopefully all went smoothly for your return to work Michele.

Waving to All and hope to check back later...

Michele, you're the last one of us to be still working. How long do you think it'll be before you can retire?
It's not been a good month for me but I finally am feeling myself as of a couple of days ago. Saw the doctor yesterday for the third time during the month and he was as happy as I am that I feel better. I've been seeing him during this time because my regular doctor, a woman, has been away on vacation. They're in the same practice. He and I have hit it off so much that I love seeing him and we both agreed to that.
Sorry about all your stress, Begete. Sometimes, life's a *****. Are other friends there also selling their homes?
Off to my book club/lunch in about an hour. It will feel good to be with others after all the events I missed in past month. We're in the 70's now. Perfect weather.

I tell you what ladies, it is so humid here in Fl. I had a/c on all day yesterday and today more of the same, unusual.
Susan I can hardly wait for tomorrow. I had a fight taking off a top last night and I can feel about 3 places where the splint is rubbing the skin raw, gheesh!
Begete, you really have a lot going on, would a little medical M help at all?
I have a little bird feeder right outside my lanai and am enjoying the cardinals and titmice, yesterday I saw a little downy woodpecker in my palm tree. They love suet, may try to get some although with our heat I wonder how long it would last.
Enjoy the day ALL.

Ginny, apparently not like what you are having.
Just came home from book club. It was nice . Nice lunch, too.

LOL. Ginny. without MM, I wouldn't sleep at all.

What bothers me most is that I cannot decide....even if we won the lottery....where I would want to live that would make me happy!

Julie, I'm thinking of working at least 5 more years. Maybe more, if I'm up to it and want to!

You all have been a busy bunch so far today.

Moving and the decision to move cannot go without some stress. Hang in there Begete and don't look for happiness in a house. Where ever you go you will bring your happiness with you. Hope John is ok.

Beautiful sunshine here today but quite chilly and to get colder in the next day or 3. Might bring my pansies in for a few days.

Michele glad that you have a goal to aim for. It makes it nice to see the end in the not too far future.
