Tonight we went out to dinner - a restaurant we go to a lot so I think two of these items I may have had back on Food Porn II. I was in the mood for buffalo wings, but so was DH. So we ordered them as an appetizer with ranch:

They actually smoke these before deep frying - makes them very unique and so good! Ranch on the side.

I also had a side salad with ranch - DS ate my croutons:

This next photo is my entree...since we had the wings to share, I picked a sandwich I had once when eating carbs. At the time, I remember thinking how wonderful it would be without the bread and I was right. The bottom has spring mix with tomato and a little ranch, next is a layer of pulled rotisserie white meat chicken covered in two thick slices of bacon, provolone cheese and three slices of avocado. This is served with a side of ranch. I gave DS the top layer of focaccia and just ate the insides, leaving the soggy bottom layer. I covered part of it with the fresh tomatoes in order to make the photo "legal"...

All in all, a filling and good meal. This is dieting???

I am so grateful to you all for posting your amazing photos and recipes. I lost 25 pounds on induction and fell off the wagon. Seeing all of these just strengthens my resolve and reminds me that induction eating is great eating, indeed!

Most definitely subbing in and hopefully will be sharing some photos and recipes soon. Thanks for all the ideas and support!

PCalt~Well, there's the Ole Oil/Vinegar, or make your own Vinegarette w/Dijon mustard, or Lemon w/Herbs-spices.
You can always buy prepared dressings w/o added sugar. Buy the ones that have no more then 2gms/Tblsp.
There's also a brand called Marie's...it's usually found in the produce refrigerated area in Jars (Blue Cheese & Ceasar).
And...Hidden Valley Ranch and Newman's Own Italian.
Google up Low carb salad dressings and you should find some more ideas.

OK, here's my first attempt at food porn.

This is a turkey sausage, fresh salsa, egg and cheddar scramble. Just heat up the sausage in a pan with Pam or butter, add the salsa to cook for a few minutes, then add the egg and scramble away, and add cheddar at the end. A few shakes of hot sauce and you're good to go!

LOL, clearly I need to work on my photography skills. Or my food staging.

Millergirl~Thx! I really don't go by a recipe. I just chop up this and that and taste as I go along.
It's basically, 2# of lean browned ground,w/onions/bell peppers, garlic, grn beans, turnips (substitute for taters), cilantro and Mex seasonings (cumin, chili powder, oregano) salt.
Then add beef bouillon (2 to 4 cups), quart can or more of stewed or diced maters, more Mex seasonings to taste. If you want it soupier add more bouillon or water. Watch out for the extra sodium in the bouillon. Let it come to a boil, then simmer for around 40min. or so.

I've been craving this ever since I saw the picture. I'm so glad you finally posted the recipe! I'm making it this week.

One question though, I'm one of those people that think cilantro, when prominent, taste like soap I know it's used as a background flavor in most of Mexican foods and I'm afraid I would be missing something if I didn't add it in the main recipe, not on top at the end like you did. Do you think it's a really strong flavor in the dish or just helps give it that Mexican flair?

I can stand it in guac and pico digallo (sp?), and salsa, I've had it other times where I get a big piece in my mouth and feel like

I use a Lot of chopped Cilantro in the pot and then as a garnish. I guess It would taste better cooked for U. To me it's not strong...but, to you...prolly. I love the flavor of it. I even chop up the stems too and add to the stew.
U don't have to use it if it tastes like Soap! Just add extra Cumin. I use a lot of Cumin in it.

Hey guys!

So i've been looking through my camera and I found alot of food porn pics that I decided to post. The pictures are really old though, from a few months ago so i'll try to remember what every thing is

Here ya go!

Chipotle shrimp and ham skewers

Parmesan herb chicken thighs

Beef stew (Sorry but the carrots are not induction friendly)

Creamy cajun chicken

Fried eggs, sausage, avocado

New York strip steak, asparagus, parmesan caulflower bake

Two burgers topped with Colby Jack and a side of Cajun broccoli slaw

Double cheeseburger, special sauce, salad, asparagus "fries"

Grill full of fajitas, sausage, and onions

Chinese chicken stir fry

Thank you so much

I don't have that recipe on my blog, I've been a bad girl and haven't updated my blog in ages!

But it was super simple and only a few ingredients:

2 boneless skinless chicken breasts
2 tbsp soy sauce
1-2 tsp chili garlic paste depending on how spicy you like it
1 garlic clove minced
2 tbsp oil to stir fry
1 tsp Splenda
1/2 bag of broccoli slaw or shredded cabbage, I used broccoli slaw

Heat 1 tbsp of the oil in a pan or wok
Add chicken breast and stir fry for 3-4 minutes or until just cooked through
Remove chicken to a plate and add remaining 1 tbsp of oil
Add garlic and fry for 30 seconds add broccoli slaw and stir fry for 2 minutes Add soy sauce, Splenda, and chili paste and add chicken back to pan.
Stir to combine everything and stir fry for a few more minutes.

That's it! Super easy and very good.

Makes 2 servings.
