Quick Protein Powder Cinnamon Roll

1 egg
1 scoop vanilla protein powder
dash of cinnamon

Mix well and microwave for about 1 minute (cut in half, makes 2 rolls), or until yours is done.

I frosted with about 1tbsp ricotta (cream cheese or greek yogurt would be good too), and sprinkled a little splenda and more cinnamon on top. It was great with coffee.

I made this and it was REALLY dry -I nuked it for a minute, so maybe that was too much time. Is there something else to add to make it less dry? I think it tastes ok, though, so will have to experiment. It's a great idea!

I made it this way because im watching calories, but ive found if you add some cream cheese to any baked good made with protein powder it makes it really moist. A little butter or coconut oil would help too.

Great suggestions - Thanks! I made another one last night and nuked it for 30 seconds and it was better, but still on the dry side - I'll experiment with your suggestions. It's a great little protein snack that I can take with me!

Wow, these meals look incredibly appetizing. The best part is they are from basic ingredients. I lack originality and get bored in presentation of my LC meals and then "Fall off the wagon". I want to restart Induction all over again today. I also love your plates. Where are they from or what is the brand/pattern called? Plus, I need to get a digital camera and do you have a recommendation? I never was much of a picture taker but everyone assures me it's not that hard to do and upload to the computer? Thank you.

protein powder

I have looked at protein powders at the stores a few times. I can never decide what to buy. Alot of the ones I see have alot of added ingredients like vitamins and supplement stuff I have no idea what they are. When using a protein powder what are others using? Do you just buy the ones at the store with the supplements and other odd things in it. Also some are from different protein and some just vegetable. I can't afford to buy a bunch of different one to experiment would really like to know what I should buy that is good.

Snack, not a meal.

Ingredients:

3 servings syntrax (3 scoops vanilla syntrax protein powder)
4 servings flax meal(1/2 cup)
3 large egg
1 tsp vanilla extract
5 oz blackberries
1 tsp baking powder
1 tsp baking soda
1/2tsp salt
3 tsp glucomannan powder
1/2 cup vanilla DaVincis (sugar free)
1/2 cup water (to thin out batter)

Crack the eggs in a bowl, and with a mixer, slowly add in 1/2 tsp of the glucomannan powder at a time, mix very well and the eggs should thicken up. Next add the vanilla, blackberries, baking powder, baking soda, salt and DaVincis and mix well. Add the flax meal and protein powder and start mixing. The batter will be very dry at this point, and slowly add in the water while mixing to loosen it up until it is the consistency of regular cupcake batter.

Use an ice cream scoop to evenly distribute in muffin papers, should make 18, and bake for 30 minutes at *350 (check after 20 minutes because ovens vary.)

2 tsp cinnamon
1/2 tsp salt
1 tsp baking powder
1 tsp baking soda
3 tsp glucomannan powder
1/2 cup vanilla DaVincis (sugar free)
1/2 cup water (to thin out batter)

Crack the eggs in a bowl, and with a mixer, slowly add in 1/2 tsp of the glucomannan powder at a time, mix very well and the eggs should thicken up. Next add the vanilla, zucchini, pecans, cinnamon, salt, baking powder, baking soda, and DaVincis and mix well. Add the flax meal and protein powder and start mixing. Protein powder pancakes w/Walden Farms pancake syrup:

Added some strawberry syrup because I ran out of regular:

And don't forget the pepper bacon!

Ingredients:
2 eggs
1 scoop protein powder
dash of baking powder
water to thin out batter

Mix well and make like regular pancakes.

Will make 3 medium-large pancakes or 6 smaller ones.

I didn't like the pankcakes but it could be due to the fact that my protein powder is vanilla flavored.

Mine is vanilla flavored as well, but it doesn't have too much flavor. Did you put the pumpkin syrup in them? Just curious because I don't like that syrup lol.

They are not for everyone, but I always try to keep my recipes super simple and minimal ingredients that do not interfere with my weight loss (like with carbquick, almond meal, flax meal, and coconut flour, and cream cheese, which all make delicious pancakes). So every now and then, I need a pancake! lol

Try just using eggs, coconut flour and liquid of choice (I use almond milk), vanilla and a little sweetener.
My protein powders are just too sweet sometimes.
