Wegmans has non-rice sushi, if you have one near you. I haven't had it yet but it looks delish.

So excited to see more food porn and add some of my own!

I spent my whole Saturday afternoon - curried lamb neck bones in a tomato and onion based sauce with lots of garlic and spices, with a yellow (turmeric and ghee) cauli rice with onion and cilantro. Can't wait to get home to it!

Me, too! Had one last night. And baked a buttered low carb flour tortilla until crispy to go with it.

I know almond flour isn't "induction" food, but had to share.

Almond cookies

2 cups almond flour
1 stick butter
1/2 cup stevia
1 tsp almond extract
1 tsp vanilla extract

Bake 5 min @ 350 then fork them, bake another 15-20

This only made 9 cookies but they were too thick I think. I had it measured at about 3.5 +/-net carbs per cookie

Spinach-cauliflower casserole.

1 reg head cauliflower steamed
2.5 cups spinach steamed
1 cup sour cream
1 stick butter
5 tbsp minced garlic
1 cup shredded cheese
Pepper and garlic salt

I steamed veggies first in Tupperware steamer. Then added them to pot and let butter melt over them. Added sour cream then used hand blender to mash and blend after adding minced garlic also. Poured into 9x9 sprayed pan. Sprinkled cheese on top and baked for 20-30 min.

I'm going to use less butter and sour cream next time. I couldn't stop eating this!!!

Be patient.. first picture

I have been reading these Induction food porn threads for weeks now. I am thoroughly addicted to these threads.

I just had the most amazing dinner, I took a picture so I could share it. The picture does NOT do the dinner justice, I was MUCH TOO CLOSE... but regardless of how the picture looks it tasted delicious. Again, my apologies for the awful picture. I am so new at taking pictures of my food. I will try to do better! Thanks for your patience! <3

Smoked Brisket on bed of pan-fried onions and radishes.

I cooked the radishes and onions in bacon-grease, in an iron skillet. I browned the onions really well then turned the fire low for 15-20 minutes to allow the radishes to soften, then turned the fire back up. (However, this was my first time, next time I will just cook them both on a higher temp to get radishes more crispy.)

In a separate iron skillet I heated up some already cooked smoked brisket from the freezer. The brisket was heated with butter.

I just made a bed of the radishes and onions and laid the brisket on top. YUMMAY, YUMMAY, YUMMAY!

If you see juice at bottom of the bowl that is because I put a tablespoon of coconut oil at each of my meals. (it is a health thing and has nothing to do with this dinner. )

New one I just tried. Was going to use bacon, but opted to go easier route w tuna.

Tuna & Egg Casserole

12 eggs
1/4 cup half/half
2 cans tuna
4 oz mushrooms
2 oz spinach
8 black olives
4 tsp minced garlic
Hot sauce
Parmesan
Pepper, salt, cayenne pepper

Spray 9x9 pan
-put mushroom pieces in bottom
-layer tuna above mushrooms
-spread sliced olives equally
-I put a lil parm and hot sauce on top
-mix eggs, garlic, & chopped spinach
-pour mixture over top
-sprinkle spices and parm on top, spinach will rise more to top.
-I baked @350 for about 45 minutes
-many variations to use. Mine divided by 4 is under 3 carbs, 44g protein, and 36g fat.

Second shot at "creamed spinach."

2oz baby spinach
2oz mushrooms
3oz ground turkey
2tbsp garlic butter
1/4cp heavy cream
2.5oz cream cheese
1tsp minced garlic
Pepper, garlic salt to taste

Sauté butter, mushrooms, & spinach. Add garlic, cream, then cream cheese. Let melt and stir. Add turkey and simmer to desired consistency. So good!

Can I get this recipe for the lamb neck. I'm not sure if I can find neck or even know what ghee is, but this sounds so good, I have to try it.

CB83 - I NEVER see Naruto rolls at any sushi places that are in my neighborhood so far. Is this an actual menu item, or do you have to ask for it as a special order? What a lc sushi lovers dream come true! I've been meaning to experiment with making my own rolls myself, but just haven't gotten around to it yet.

Some sushi places will do a "special cucumber" roll. I tend to ask. I tell them I have a rice allergy and ask if they have any sushi rolls that have no rice - usually they'll have a special cucumber roll similar to the one above

Otherwise, I go to my favorite sushi place around and order their sashimi. It's amazing.

I ask for California rolls wrapped in soy paper, no rice Its amazing! or as you said wraped in cucumber. They are always happy to make this and the soy paper is wonderful and is often pink or natural color. Add some fresh ginger and OMG delish!!
