Always can have tuna creations for breakfast. Or minute muffins or mini cheesecakes.. Both have eggs but are different. Sometimes bulletproof coffee is all you need...

I have abandoned the idea of traditional breakfast foods for breakfast. If I want them, then I have them but just as often I'll have BPC and nothing until around 10-11 or so. Then I'll reheat leftovers and have that and then eat dinner around 6.

I made a low carb quiche last night so I could have some for breakfast this morning and that was good.
I made single ones in a muffin tin and they turned out really good.

Lunch today will be a chef salad I am making for me and my hubby, with eggs, ham, turkey , black olives, cheese and anything else low carb I can find to put on it. Any suggestions?

I have some trout (fish) to bake for supper tonight. And have some broccoli mixed veggies to go with it.

I mostly drink unsweetened ice tea with all my meals or water..I love Ice cold water.
Have not been drinking soda to much, been weaning myself off those, I may drink one once a week when we go out.

But so far so good. I have not weighed anymore so I am not sure if I have lost anymore weight. How often do you all weigh in?
I was afraid if i weighed everyday and not lost any it would discourage me and I don't want that to happen.

I have another appointment with my breathing doctor next Thursday so when they weigh me there hopely I will have lost some more weight.
My breathing is still acting up pretty bad, they say I have asthama and put me on meds for it but it does not seem to be helping any so my doctor is going to give me some more in dept tests and check for copd and any other thing that may cause it. My heart doctor said my heart was great, no clogged arteries or anything wrong with the heart valve either.
This is one reason why I am trying to lose the weight, because it could be that i am just to heavy thats why I get so short of breath when i walk or do anything. But we are trying to find the cause what-ever it may be and hope losing some weight will help me to.

Mary, hope your salad was good!

I weigh on Tuesday and Friday. The Tuesday is when I record my weight and measure for inches lost. I am still bothered by what the scale says when it goes up though, which is really a problem for me. Intellectually I know that it is part of the process but emotionally it can be a struggle still.

Hi everyone, just checking in before I go to bed. My eating is going well and I am staying on plan with the low carb. We ate out last night and i had the most awesome shrimp salad. I think after all these years I have finally found what I can eat when we dine out.
As long as I stick to the steaks and meats grilled or my seafood grilled I do ok. And of course they always have salad to go with it. I don't eat as much as I use to do, for some reason I can't, don't know why unless I have just trained myself to eat less and be full.
But I am down to 230 again and thats a 95 pound loss. But I have been on low carb since November 2000. I was off and on it so much, lose a little gain a little but never gained it all back, I always got back on low carb before I did. I was 325 back in 2000 when I got on low carb for the first time. As long as I gradually lose it I am happy.
The only problem is some loose skin, not bad but loose and I don't like that.

Leila, I love how pretty you display your meals, I like to make mine look pretty like that to.

Lunch today was some left over shrimp salad from last night and I put it on top of some sliced tomatoes and had some of my favorites cheeses with it and a big glass of iced tea. unsweetened of course with my sweet n low.
I hear that sweet n low is not good for you, tell me what do you all use?

Got to go, am tired and ready for bed, the cat is ready for bed to and she has been bothering me to get up from the computer. So I'll check back in tomorrow.

Leilajoon, your food looks really good. I agree with Pcola that your settings are absolutely beautiful. I love the white heart shaped platter with the chicken thighs on it and the heart serving spoons! All the pics were lovely.

Pcola, sounds like things are going really well for you. I use Stevia, in particular either Stevita or Sweetdrops liquid stevia. If I'm out and have no other choice, I typically use Splenda. On the rare occasions I bake something sweet, I use Swerve.

I bought me some stevia to use in my iced tea. I just need to get use to the taste because its taste so different to me.
But my dieting is going well. Hope I can lose the rest of this year. I am trying hard to do just that.

Mmmmmm all of this looks so good.

Quick question. Is unsweetened plain cocoa powder okay on induction? I've got some hanging out in the cabinet and I've got some great ideas...

I would say yes if you only use 2 tbsp serving or less. I just made some fat bombs with it and turned out good. 2 tbsp and a cup of coco oil with sweetner.

But I'm pretty sure it is not on the real list

Sorry that this may be a bit obnoxious, but I'm craving gravy... is there a good way to make gravy that's induction-friendly? With heavy whipping cream maybe? I've never done it before without milk, but it's pretty similar, right?

I use sour cream a lot for this as a base. Adding in cooked mushrooms and onions cooked in browned butter with drippings from a roast. or any meat. Crock pots are the best and then add sour cream

I have some glucomannan powder, and I just made biscuits from coconut flour the other day. I feel an experiment coming up real soon. The biscuits weren't bad but taste a little gritty. I'll update if I get something good going

Forgot to take a picture, but I made "buffalo chicken meatballs" this weekend and they were delish! (I'm a sucker for hot sauce and blue cheese) I served them with a side salad.
