I bought the book Whole 30 and plan to get going after the first of the year. Yes, I know, I could begin now, but with Thanksgiving and Christmas, I know I wouldn't follow it. So, January 1 I plan to give it a try.

I did a Whole 45 which started November 2 and will start another round on January 4. Whole 30 was truly the best thing I've ever done for my overall health and well being.

I slept better, had more energy (although I don't think I experienced Tiger Blood), changed my relationship with food, cleared up persistent eczema, completely alleviated heart burn, reduced hot flashes and night sweats and was just happier all around. Oh and I lost 10 lbs which is huge for this perimenopausal woman!

Planning is key and so is prep! I am fortunate enough to be "retired" at the ripe old age of 47 and have been doing an incredible amount of cooking and learning. I am absolutely in love with my Instant Pot and have found really great bloggers to follow on Instagram and Pinterest.

I did a Paleo woe last year and am getting more solidly back into that again with the hopes of getting my energy levels back up again.

I did a Whole 30 last spring (actually about 25 days, I joined some others in progress). It wasn't much different for me, except no diet soda. I didn't feel any differently, but I see how someone would if they were coming from the SAD.

I was primal/ paleo from 2013 til summer of 2015 when I decided to try Atkins. My 3 other co-workers and I did a Whole 30 in April. It was really good to do it together. Each of us learned a lot as individuals. They r doing it again starting Jan 4. I am going to join them while continuingj my LC WOE. I will only really have to drop dairy I have been curious as to whether the dairy I eat is slowing my rate of loss, so this will give me 30 days to see. Otherwise, I pretty much follow W30 template anyway. No frankenfood, no nitrates, etc.
