Would pea protein be considered Paleo?

I am really trying to eat whole foods and paleo. I do eat a smoothie each morning with avacado, almond butter, chia seeds, berries and pea protein powder. I need some protein in the shake and wondered if this was considered paleo? I know beans are not on paleo and they really spike my blood sugar but the pea protein does not. The only ingredients is yellow peas.

Peas would be considered a legume, so not on strict Paleo.

Here's a flow chart to help you figure it all out:

(missing a "no" after legume question)

These days though, stuff that is considered "Paleo" is just ridiculous. The marketers have taken control. You have to use your common sense once in a while.
Have you thought about using a raw egg?
