Good morning, TM Buddies! I have not read any of these posts yet, but will. For the past few weeks, I have not exercised due to problems with my right knee (and also I was ill last week - lost my voice, coughing, sneezing, sore throat). I saw the doctor over the weekend and she told me that my knee is arthritic and the effects of the broken fibular tip are a part of why my knee is swollen as well.

I will have to walk slowly on the TM and be careful with my dance routines once I start again - which I plan to do tomorrow morning.

I have a lot of catching up to do but keep up the good work everyone. Have a great day!

Sorry about you knee Del, I have a dodgy arthritic knee too, but not the Broken fibular to add to the problem.

I did a Combat class on Monday but have had a friend staying until this afternoon, so nothing else to add.

We are going to Beirut next week so no formal exercise then either.

Well, our son is all moved back in so I can get my life somewhat back to normal which will include exercise. Hopefully I'll get started again on Monday.

Sorry about your knee, Del...

I thought things would settle down but not yet. I still haven't had a chance to get back to the treadmill or exercises...hopefully in the coming week. We are now in the midst of organizing and prepping for our annual family picnic on July 3rd...I really need to find time to exercise...

Hey, TM Buddies! You ladies are doing great! Thanks for your well wishes, I truly appreciate them.

I have not been doing any exercises until today. So, I've taken a total month off to relax the knee - the doctor told me not to do any strenuous exercising and to see an orthopedist which is my next thing to do.

Today, though, I am starting my workouts again - I can't stand being sedentary. I did the first session of my Shaun T Dance Party video for about 20 mins. I think that doing the dancing will be fine for me. It feels so go to get moving again!

Next week, I plan to begin a 20-day cleanse - for me. Hubby is doing it and he's losing weight, so that could be the answer to my lack of weight loss problem. I will try it and see how I will feel; coupled with the workouts again, I should be able to get back into my outfits. I'll keep you all posted!

Have a good day, TM Buddies!

Del ... so good to see you around and glad to know that you are on the mend. Take it easy because I know how you like to go "hard, and full speed" with your exercises !

I have been away for a bit because my travel schedule for work has been crazy so, I haven't been tracking my workouts but, I have indeed been working out for sure.

I'll do better with the upcoming week, I brought a mini planner to keep up with my on the road workouts .

I'm resting the body this weekend but, it's good to see everybody doing so well.

Hey, TM Buddies! Hope all are enjoying the long weekend! Good job on your workouts! I am still struggling with my maintaining my regular routine workouts, but this too shall pass.

Right now, since my body hit a plateau for quite some time, at the advice (and example) of my hubby, I am doing a 20-day cleanse which I started last week Tuesday. Tomorrow will be one week (seven days) and as of now my weight has dropped 6 lbs. I am happy so far with the results..

I have been eating all raw veggies and fruits in the form of green smoothies and salads. Yesterday, I had two green smoothies (one veg/fruit mix and one all vegs), and one Mango Kale Salad. I am getting used to not having meat as of now, but can't swear by it as I love chicken, fish and turkey and an occasional burger or beef ribs!

After the cleanse, I have plans to cleanse three days a week, hoping that will keep my weight down. We shall see what happens! Now to get back to doing my dances but not overdoing the right knee!

Have a good one!

MIA for a bit due to some health issues that are now being taken care of....nothing serious but unable to exercise till yesterday (plus having weekend houseguests...well, my son and family....better than most houseguests!)

Started doing some pool exercises...basically my PT leg exercises in the pool...feels easier while doing them but I sure can feel it in my muscles right now!

I've been doing my pool exercises as often as time and weather permits. Got a good hour of exercises and swimming today! Still hoping to get back to biking one of these days. So far my schedule is not working to fit biking in.

Thanks, Cindy!

Still getting my pool exercises in. That seems to be working best for me right now. Too much upheaval in my life right now to do much more. Our oldest sold his house and moved in here temporarily. We thought he would be looking to buy another house but has decided he wants to build one so he'll be here a little longer than planned. That's fine because he does his share here and is good company. But getting used to having an extra in the house changes up the routines sometimes. We are in the midst of a big clean and organize the house, too. So I'm trying to at least stay active even when it isn't formal exercise.

We've been able to use the pool all week...all my exercises are being done in the pool. PT leg exercises as well as water walking. That's all for now but I got a 10 lb. kettlebell out and will start using it tomorrow....I'll be doing just a little bit at a time twice a week for now. Will build up to about a 20-30 minute session twice a week.

Well, still doing my pool exercises and water walking. Got an 8 mile bike ride the other day, too! Haven't been able to get the kettlebell exercises started yet and now I've decided to put it off for a couple more weeks because we're having houseguests starting next Saturday and continuing for about a week or so. I don't want to be sore when they arrive!

Hey everyone... life has been so hectic lately... I have been exercising but, unlike Del (who always does a good job of keeping track of her workouts) well, I didn't so, I guess I will have to just post today's workout and not my past days that I missed logging.

Monday, August 1st

45 min on treadmill
Squats and lunges (30 each)
Burpess (I hate these ... urgh)... 15
