Awesome, TM Buddies! Glad to read these posts! Keep up the good work! Today, I took a rest day since I have back issues...I've been working out since Sunday. Just feeling a small bit of pulling in my back today, but not as bad as it has been.

Linda, easy does it!! Glad you were able to do something and that you're feeling good about it!

I have such a crazy schedule, I'm walking in 15 min. increments today. So far, this morning, I've walked 16 mins, 1.01 miles, 129 cals. Will check back later! Have a good day, TM Buddies!

Thanks, Everyone! It's good to be back! Last night I did 25.09 minutes/5.26 miles on the bike. Today I did 25.02 minutes/5.29 miles on the bike. When I finished the biking my husband challenged me to some ping pong....we play with no rules, no scoring...just hit the balls around till all of them are lost in the basement under the furniture. Then we collect them all to be ready for another day. So much fun! We haven't done it in quite a while so it was some good cardio for about 20 minutes! He also moved my rebounder to the living room so I can start using it several times a day...I can only do a few minutes at a time right now. It will be good to break up all the times when I'm sitting.

I'm back from the "land of the sick".

Looks like everyone kicked off the New Year with a bang with some good exercise.

I wish I could have but, geez... I couldn't even hold my head up without feeling "woozie" so, I'm on the mend and will be back on the treadmill next week.

Everyone have an awesome weekend.

Hi,Every one.
We sure have a group here. And we are all doing well.
It sure is cold here and to get snow.
My Husband is going to Fla, Wed. for week or two.
While he is gone I hope to kick in more at the y
Today went to y and i did couple weight machines and I walked. I did 11,980 steps.
Was hopeing to get back in the steam room and sauna.{But did not
If snow gets to much at least I can do the gym i have down stairs.
and I can always do the tredmil.
Does any one here watch the Biggest looser? or the new one Diet vers diets?
Have a good day and week.

I think maybe today I'm going to add some treadmill time! It will be slow going and I'll be happy to get 10 minutes if I can. I'm starting to feel the old me awakening and I love it!

Hi, I would like to join. I normally run outside though, I prefer the outdoors rather than the treadmill, but do the treadmill when weather is bad. I also cycle.

My goals this year are: 1000 miles running, and 1016 miles cycling.

When I started running a couple years ago, and more specifically last year around this time, I was only able to jog at a 4.0.. now I regularly run about 5.0-5.5 mph, 11:30-12:00 minute mile. Lots of improvement for me.

I did 5.63 miles today on the bike...25 minutes. I decided I should wait another week or so before adding anything. I have a tendency to push too fast and I don't want to do that so I'm going to stick with the bike and the bouncing on the rebounder for now.

Hello Kind! Good job on your workout.

I do not do the green smoothies yet as it is not Atkins induction friendly but intend to do it again here and there when able to transition to more carbs

Hi.
Veronica,
Does it not feel great to get our bodies were they should be? I started April 1st.2013
I started green smoothies and it works.Through I have fallen off on Smoothies for few months. Got to get back.
But I have kept working on looseing weight. Which in 2013 was>178 Now 134 as of today.
My short goal is to get to 123lbs{and I will be normal weight for me
and Then when I hit that>Next goal is to loose another 10lbs.
Im short and small bone and as course older. My weight should be between>90-123
I keep my cals.{Most times.
with few here and there.1200 or little under.
Plus Im into exesrcing.
Eating plan is healthy with lots of greens, lean meat{Very little red meat. and veggies.and of course the Good fats.
But I do drink to much diet pop.
and Ilike my cans soups and rice cakes.
All of you girls are doing great. We just have to keep at it and when we fall>which we all do just get on again and try lower falls. and Do post. even if u did nothing for that day. It is so cold here.
Im June We will be going to Tx.to vist daughter and her family. Renting a beach house there on the beach.
Have a great week girls.

Kind: how impressive your weight loss! Its truly inspiring! You've made it a way of life and have incorporated exercise to help achieve it which is even better. Yes, I agree after each workout I feel invigorated. I have to admit that during my circuit training classes I am miserable DURING but glad that I did if AFTER. Keep up the good work

Thanks again, Everyone! It's good to be back even though I'm no where near what I was doing back in the day.

Today (well, technically yesterday now that it's after midnight) I did 25.26 minutes (6.04 miles) on the recumbent bike. I also decided to see how I would do on the treadmill. It's been a long time but I walked for 6 minutes....very slow but I did a little treadmill time!

I plan to continue the recumbent bike and work up to 30 minutes. And I plan to add treadmill daily. Hope to keep improving as time goes on. I'm also planning to add some kettlebell work soon...just the warm up on the dvd I have for now. I'll keep working on that, too.

It feels so good to be started back...finally!

I had class on Tuesday so that was a skip day for me and yesterday I didn't leave work until close to 8pm. (I had a 10 day old sick baby I had to transfer and it is a time consuming process) so I skipped last night, just to tired physically and emotionally. But I did do 2 miles @ 3.8 mph in 32.44 minutes for 183 cals burned.
