Vlo - your stats are very impressive! I can't eat dairy, alas.

My trip to Italy is coming fast! I leave October 9! I'm trying to walk every day so that I can build strength. I have found comfortable shoes that work with my brace, so nothing should hold me back! Except the bronchitis I seem to have!

Hi Mim, and everyone. I've been gone for months. Have been dealing with serious family issues and eating like a pig. My weight has gone up and down within about a 10 pounds range. Just checked what I weighed the last time I was here and astonishingly enough, my weight is only 2 pounds more today then it was last time I posted here all those months ago. I've had almost daily re-starts on my diet and almost daily fails. So here I am today with another 'new' day and will try my very best to stay on plan today and get past this day's re-start. Feeling more confident today. I'm going to go back to read some of the latest posts here and try to get a little up to speed with everyone here. And going to update my 'Stats' now.

Mim, if you don't mind me asking, what kind of brace do you wear?

As I posted on last months thread; I am no longer doing stills for now. I am going to give juddd a chance. I still plan to check in and encourage here because it has been my online weight loss "home" for so long.

Mim I hope your bronchitis doesn't get too bad. It is good you can recognize when it is starting and get a jump on treatment.

Welcome back shenue. That is great that you are only 2 up. I am usually up 20 when I go off plan for months. If you can get the plan to stick you will get to see some lower numbers.

I went to the dr. this morning and got ordered to bed. I'm on antibiotics, cough pills, and a new inhaler. Hopefully I'll feel better quickly!

Mim hope you get better soon. I have had bronchitis a few times and it sucks every time! Where are you going in Italy? I would love to go again but my next trip is a relaxing trip... Maybe the one after that!

I have been back and forth with stills and induction and then some off days so I am the same weight I was last time I posted. I have all my food prepped and I am doing good today. My bday is on the 22 and I hope to be down 10 lbs by then and be really back on plan. I lost 25lbs last year and hope to lose another 25 this year. Then I will be at my low weigh again.

I like everyone's ideas to lose the weight, mixing things up a bit and seeing what works best with our bodies .
Logan_Love - Thank you for the delish meatloaf recipe !

Today I am having a iced coffee with cream and that's it for calories everything else will be calorie free . A down day today then I will do a Stillmans up day tomorrow. I just don't like the way carbs make me feel the following day . I feel bloated and tired . Anyone else feel the carb repercussions the next day ?

Still - it depends on what kind of carbs I have. Empty calorie junk really makes me feel yucky. As does bread. But the higher carb veggies do not make me feel that way.

Hello all and happy September!
I had my first pumpkin spice coffee today and it was deeeelish!
Today was super busy. Oral surgeon appointment with my dad then my interview which I think went well. Like I said, I'm hopeful but I'm not going to get myself worked up.
It's 830 pm and the fiance and I are about to have dinner. Tonight it's grilled bone in chicken breasts, steak and leftover meatloaf. Tomorrow I will treat my dad to his own meatloaf and Puerto Rican style beans. I can't wait to reach goal and maintain on Southbeach. Having beans was something I definitely looked forward to. Today is day 9 and I was tempted to buy something after my interview but realized I was only doing it out of fear of not getting the job. I took a couple breaths and said no. I had my black pumpkin coffee with stevia and it hit the right spot.

I was down 2 lbs this morning! I know it's water weight but it's motivating! Here to a good weekend for everyone.

My little friend that I care for has been vomiting off and on all day. So cancelled dinner tonight just in case I'm carrying a sickness I don't want to pass it on. We will reschedule tomorrow as long as I feel well.
Now I have no idea what we'll have. I'm not prepared.

Eh it's times like this I'd like to order pizza! I won't but I do want to.

Today's menu 3 chicken breasts seasoned with chefs shake a dip of sweet mustard . One skim mozzarella cheese stick. Water , coffee black, green tea and unsweetened iced tea.

Tomorrow I will make it a down day and then weigh on Sunday .

Mim - Rest and be well .

So today has turned into a very nice, well under 200 calorie, not a bad day. My daughter is playing at the gym till 11. My kitchen is clean and I can just breath! Tomorrow we will eat shrimp. I've been looking forward to them...I hope they are as good as I've been thinking about. Salty, slightly sweet low calorie protein bites. With cocktail sauce and completely on plan!

Tonight I do not need to eat. I made DH fish pies last night and he baked one off tonight and DD only ones to snack on gym night.

Still, your menu sounds tasty!

Woo Hoo ! Leanne you kept it low cal . That will be my magic number tomorrow for a down day .

Fish pies ? I never had, sounds yummy {I love seafood }
