it's all about the daily victories!

I normally would make my own but I am going to check the store if they have a low sugar one I'm keeping it easy.

Daughter is home and fed. Hubby is sleeping. I think I'll do the same!

I make my own too with reduced sugar ketchup and spicy horseradish my family likes it better than the kind that they sell with the platter

I woke up this morning feeling some better. Not get dressed and move off the couch better, but better nonetheless.

I love my cocktail sauce - lc ketchup and horseradish sauce. Sometimes I want it really spicy and sometimes not as much, so it is always made to what I'm in the mood for!

Glad you are feeling better than yesterday mim !

That's what I have. 1 tablespoon is 1 carb. If you wanted to you could add in tomato sauce depending on what you are using it for. I add hot sauce or horseradish depending...

I know there are recipes to make your own but I do not use enough of it to bother. I'm also not very carb sensitive.

3lbs fresh shrimp, 2lbs mussels and 1 of scallops. Plus some pancetta to wrap a few things in.. I'm so looking forward to tonight.

I even bought the good butter lol. I had an egg and cottage cheese for breakfast. I had to before I could shop. For lunch I just had a few chunks of soft cheese and a seaweed wrap. Today is an UD but I still need to not get out of hand. Adding in some fat after the last few weeks is lovely...

Mim I'm happy to hear you are on the up side of healing. Take care.

Happy Sunday !

The scale is moving in the right direction. Although it's taking its time .
Today is a Stillmans up day which means more chicken .

Leanne, pancetta isn't easy to come by here . Sometimes Aldi's carries it as a speciality item . I hope you enjoyed your meal

Hope you feel better soon Mim.

I think it would be helpful to me if we shared some of the "things" we eat. I don't do well with much dairy, so all the ff dairy options are out for me. I eat boiled eggs, and chicken, and plain lean beef, but that gets old. I also work a lot, so convenience is good too.

I have found Butterball frozen turkey burgers are good with a little mustard. I grill a bunch on the weekend for work.

Many places sell pre-boiled eggs that make it super-easy to grab and go. I have new chickens that just started laying though, so don't use them anymore.

Costco has some precooked chicken patties that are vacuum sealed two to a packet that are good. They do have some cheese and veggies mixed in, so not strictly Stillman's, but I have good losses still the days I eat them.

I found some frozen turkey meatballs at Trader Joe's today. I haven't tried them yet.

What does everyone else eat?

I eat a lot of chicken and a lot of eggs., I have started buying the filets and making a bunch every few days because they are snack size!I eat about 18 eggs a week, I boil them and then put them in my fridge to grab and go, I also work a lot so that important.

Sometimes I will make a meatballs on the weekend and eat them all week. I also snack on cheese but that doesn't really apply to you if you don't like dairy.

I eat other meats If I buy them on sale but I would say 95% is chicken and eggs, it's boring but it actually helps me stay on plan because I know I am hungry if I actually want chicken.

Well my weekend was all over the place. Saturday's meal was a seafood binge with extra butter and cocktails. I'm lucky to have a nice seafood market as well as a nice Italian market to shop at. My weight went up.
Sunday again I ate all day while making soups. At least no cocktails were involved. But not enough water and to much sodium and calories were. I'm up little more.

I'm doing 3 days of high fat soup. Then back to S QWL!

Hello beauties!

I haven't posted in a couple of days. I have been so busy since Thursday afternoon after my interview. Good news is I have been super stressed BUT I've kept on plan (today is day 14) AND I GOT THE JOB! I am extremely nervous but I have a feeling I'm going to do just fine.

I've already gotten my lunch ready for my first day which is lean ground beef and eggs. My fiance and I grilled a lot over the past 2 days. We have lean steak and skinned chicken thighs to get us through the next 3 days or so. I still haven't weighed but may do so tomorrow since it will be a new start for me. I absolutely feel better, in control, and I can see a difference in my body.

I've already had a bottle of water, couple cups of black coffee with stevia and 4 hard boiled eggs since I've been up since 5:30 am. I also go my first 15 minute bike ride in.

Hope you all have had a great weekend. By this time tomorrow, I'll be sweating with anxiety!

Wishing you all a wonderful and gentle day.

Thanks for the info on what you eat. For the record, I LOVE dairy, it just doesn't love me back. It gives me asthma-like symptoms. I think Ijust need to plan better and prep more. I have the day off today, so I can work on that.

Have a great day all.

Thank you

What I find that works best is to just keep it simple and choose things you truly like to eat. For instance, I LOVE beef so I buy lean steak and lean ground beef. I also love chicken thighs but I clean them up, as my fiance says lol. I take a pair of kitchen shears and cut all of the skin and fat off. I season them then grill or cook them on a rack in the oven. That way the fat will drip down. They turn out crispy and not greasy at all. I also love eggs so I always have plenty on hand. It's definitely a chore but it keeps me on my toes and focused. I skip dairy all together because I prefer to dig into the meat.

Last time I did this, I was so strict and although I lost a lot of weight, I was completely miserable and thus it was not sustainable for the long run and ultimately I gained it back. I maintained on south beach for a long time and I intend to do so again when I reach goal.

I am enjoying this cycle much more than before. I find that eating a bit more eggs and different types of meat other than chicken breasts, has helped me curb cravings and stay on plan. I also have lobster and lean fish like tilapia when it's available. Before I was so paranoid that I would skip it. It was not a way to live! I was tired and literally holed up. Never again.

Sending you lots of love

Checking in so you guys know I am not face first into a binge.

I am still on the juddd plan. So far I really like it a lot. Doing Stillman off and on for so long has actually made it easier for me to do the down days.

Good to see you guys are doing OK.

My neighbour had a BBQ today and wanted my family to join them They are very kind neighbours which is why we gladly accepted their invitation . I explained my diet and I was treated to a grilled chicken breast and a simple salad . I declined cocktails, wine and soda, instead I opted for unsweetened iced tea. I had a lovely time and I am not going to worry if the scale goes up because of a small salad . I will try to do better tomorrow

I put my stats in the calculator and got a 417/2096 calorie range. I started on a down day. Today is my third DD. The first DD I had oatmeal, turkey lunchmeat, snacking on cucumber, a yogurt and a small amount of mixed veggies.

The second DD I did not eat until 3 in the afternoon and ended up at a restaurant with no low calorie stuff. I had a VERY small amount of a hamburger wrap. No idea how many calories it was but I doubt it went over my 417.

Today was my third DD. I waited till about 3 to eat and I had a 370 calorie lean cuisine meal. I'll snack on some cucumbers later.

I have lost a bit over 2 pounds in 4 days even coming off a 9 day stillman run. So far I like it. My blood sugar, not so much. I am thinking I need to do it more high fat low/no carb from here on out.

Thank you for your reply

I must say I am guilty of lurking at the Juddd forum

I also peeked at the south beach diet . I will choose which one to begin once I reach 145lbs.

I looked up some keto friendly soups. I think it was I breathe, I'm hungry website and one of the recipes I will try is the Brazilian shrimp stew . Maybe sharing our menus is a good idea so we don't get bored

Happy Tuesday !
I wish today wasn't a busy day , I had terrible stomach pains last night I ate some raw red onions that were in my neighbours salad yesterday , love em the onions! they don't love me at all !
Woke up in pain at 4:00 am and never was able to feel comfortable to sleep .

I have no idea what's on my menu today , I have shopping to do . The thought of food atm is making me feel worse . I have to clean the house and cook for the family though . I have to muster up some strength and carry on .

Have a great day everyone!

Oh, the scale was bouncing from 150lbs to 151lbs I cussed at it !

Sorry Still. My daughter can't have onion or garlic... or she also gets pain. I'm sure that pain equals inflammation as well as the lack of sleep. Your scale should be nicer tomorrow.
Sneak a little rest when you can!
