I was doing great yesterday until dinner when my roommate started making himself burritos for dinner...so what did I do? I did high fat yesterday so I could try a recipe I found on YouTube for taquitos where the shell is cheese. Omg it was so yum. I will definitely eat them again whenever my next higher fat day occurs. It was low carb so I feel good about that. Got to have Mexican food and i avoided the unnecessary carbs from the shell but I wasn't stuck eating out a bowl with a fork again.

Yes I can't believe I didn't know about it! It seems I've done everything since the age of 14. I don't have the book either as it wasn't available for my nook and it would be too much work to go foraging for it. I was really shocked at how well this diet works! I have been so hung up on HFLC for so long, even when it wasn't working. I even went through a time where I was eating straight up Kerrygold butter to "get my fat up" and it was not doing it for me.

I usually fast til noon and then for lunch I had a can of canned chicken and a Greek yogurt, dinner was 1 whole egg with 8 egg whites and another yogurt. Then before bed I had another egg and 5 egg whites.

I like to use sugar free ketchup which I'm trying to cut back on and also I chew A LOT of sugarless gum. I know that isn't allowed but my mouth gets to tasting terrible. LOL. I will try to cut back on the gum. I only drink coffee and water and no AS. I am wondering if I'm eating too much protein though? Yesterday I ended up with 190 grams of protein, 53 carbs and 15 grams of fat.

How much protein are you guys eating in a day?
I nibble late at night watching crime mysteries, it's really not good, so I cut it out . I was eating pistachios or pecans out of control .The diet I was following at the time allowed some low carb nuts , "SOME" and no eating after 6pm the diet worked till I started to nibble after 6pm then I failed miserably.

I used to chew SF gum (Ice Cubes ) they are lil cubes of gum to keep keto breath fresh now I drink Mio energy and the strawberry pineapple flavour is my favourite!

I really never thought about how much protein I eat a day hmmmm.. maybe I could track it on my fitness app , perhaps I should . I am old school I have apps on my phone for fitness. I could find them very useful . My son tells me mom you can just keep track on your phone instead of pen and paper !

150.2lbs this morning and getting over TOM . Once my hormones get balanced ,I can resist the Cheese and other delish cravings ! & yes Kal , I will be making those cheesy taco shells someday , I already looked it up !

Tonight is shrimp cocktail & homemade cocktail sauce ! I am a big dipper and I will need to try hard with portion control . Also learn to not make too much dip to start

Happy Friday !

I don't typically eat a lot of cheese but it was cheese vs a flour tortilla. Whenever you try them let me in know.

I'm so ready for my Saturday weigh in. I weigh daily but only look And gauge off my weekly number. So I'm just wanting Saturday to come.

I know I lost 25-30 lbs 5ish years ago doing qwl but it's hard now! Lol

I was single then and it was much easier. Also I was younger that 5 years really changed my metabolism. I just gotta keep with it. And remember that my life is different now and it probably won't come off in 2/3 months... I wish all the old posts were still here so I could look back and would know for sure.

In the plus side you know you are actually hungry when you crave chicken and eggs lol that's why I always lose better on repetition because I won't eat out of habit.

I was up .6 today. I know it's from the salt because I was good all day. To be honest I actually thought it would be higher so that's good. It's rainy and cold here today so I can't go on my lunch walk

Does anyone else find their sense of smell is better in stills? I swear I can smell so much better now. Like a sweater k though was clean before and was hanging in the closet, smelled bad to me this morning!

I have seen that cheese wrap thing and was actually going to make it on Tuesday. I really want to try it but I am worried it will overdo it if I tried right now. Once I hit my 10 lb goal I will try it, if it stalls me I will be at goal already so it won't feel so bad lol

Ha! We must be twins! I love to watch Forensic Files and such at night while eating nuts (or used to before Stillmans I should say lol). My faves are walnuts and the Men's Health ones. I'm substituting egg whites now but I do miss my nuts. I can sure pack away the calories with those!

Yes, real crime stories, not just based on . I watched the Jodi Arias episode on snapped and I delight when justice is served

I did gardening today, actually a garden clean up . Removing all the dead or dying annuals and putting out purple and lavender Asters and yellow and dark plum Mum's it's looking more like fall , good, because the heat is not my friend anymore

Quick dinner tonight . I hope the shrimps fill me up , if not I have some hard boiled eggs on hand .

I am nuts for nuts I never heard of mens health kind though .

Today I am having reduced sugar ketchup and it tastes very sweet .
I figure the scale will be up tomorrow . Oh well, set backs happen . I should of listened to my inner self instead of my taste buds and wait for this dish till I reached 145lbs.

Today was on plan. It was very hard to shop at Costco and avoid all the treats so I bought clothes as motivation. I have some hard boiled eggs and chicken filets cooking so that's what I will eat tomorrow at work.

I think working 7 days a week is good for stills, doesn't give me much time to be at home and snack!

Sounds like everyone is doing well! I hope the Whoosh fairy stops in for everyone on weigh day! I'm now craving cheese tacos. There used to be shells at Walmart that were 3 carbs each. I haven't seen them in ages. They were very thin and crispy.
I have to be very careful with cheese... I love cheese

Mar good job on new clothes vs off plan snacks. 7 days a week might be good for the diet but make sure you get some you time

Still the gardening sounds lovely. Here it's just hot and steamy. It is almost time to start trying to grow some veggies again. Unfortunately I end up just feeding the rabbits.

Melissa I look forward to you getting back to you comfort zone. I love watching maintainers succeed.

Well it's Saturday. Weight 196.8. Have Zumba today and going to a festival tonight so I'll be active all day. Scale is going down so I'm happy about that. Just have to keep going. 180s you will be mine again soon enough.

Melissa I look forward to you getting back to you comfort zone. I love watching maintainers succeed.
Thanks Leanne! You are so close to where you want to be too!

Those noodles sound very interesting- I like anything I can eat a lot of! (I go for volume lol)
