My October goals are to show a loss! I'll be in Italy for two weeks and will not be on any plan other than the enjoy local food plan! I hope walking will even things out.

I will post my October goals here: Mine is to get into the 160s so I have to lose 9.1 lbs but my first mini goal is to make it to my pre-bday weight. I have a wedding today, a baby shower Sunday and We have thanks giving next week so I am not sure how this month will go but I will do my best!

I'm doing great with alt shift and using Stillmans. I went from 127-123 this week, granted the 127 was after the "loading" phase, but I've dropped all that with 3 days of Stillmans. I have 2 more days of the low carb part and then I'll do 3 potato days and see how that goes.

Happy Sunday !!

Today I am feeling quite lazy , I am making breakfast for dinner . Bacon & eggs . Simple and filling.

I am feeling the remains of the cold / cough . I washed clothes, bed sheets, blankets and towels . Cleaned the door handles, light switches and floors with Clorox if only it would stop raining, then I would open all the windows and air out the home . Not one person in the household was spared this miserable cold

I am going to oven crisp the bacon and make french omelettes.

This coming week I have some halloween decorating to do. Where I live, I have a bunch of lil ones in my cul-de-sac each year they look even more adorable, in their costumes

I hope you all enjoy your Sunday

Well my first October goal was to not due in my 5k over the weekend. And I didn't haha. So very sore. I ran, jogged, and walked but I made it to the end. Starting Oct at 196.4 hoping to drop an average of 6 pounds every month. I just have to put my mind to it. I had my doc appt and my cholesterol is lower than it used to be but still too high. I have another appt set for late March and they want me to drop 20- 30 pounds by then.

I had a late dinner at a restaurant with friends last night. It was a last minute thing and as a result I'm up a bit over a pound I don't care - it will come off quickly and I had a lovely time! I am learning to navigate life! In the past this would cause me to want to binge. But I just want to be on plan and stay feeling good!

I am trying to do this the stress free way too! I had a wedding to go to on Friday and a baby shower yesterday I ate fairly well at both but due to the carbs i am up 2 lbs, but I am ok with that. I am not going to convince myself I gained 2 lbs so it doesn't matter and I should go off plan. I gained 50 lbs with that mentality!

We have 3 thanksgiving dinner this weekend, one Saturday and 2 Sunday. I will probably only eat at 2 and will try to eat mostly veggies and protein but I will allow myself some mashed potatoes because they are my favourite!

This week I am adding some veggies (doing dukan) and will see how my losses are. In the past it worked but I don't know If it will work now. Usually the biggest problem for me when I add veggies is I add fat and although I maintain on higher fat I don't lose.

I hope you all had a lovely weekend !

I am eating higher fats like bacon and tonight a rib eye steak .

I found oat bran at a place I never imagined would carry it I would like to start dukan as I have mentioned in previous posts !

I will start once I reach and stay at 145 lbs , actually 140lbs would be lovely seeing how it goes. I lose slowly ..

I am airing out the house this afternoon and going up into the attic getting halloween decorations ready . I am not 100% feeling better although I am getting there ! I have to keep myself busy these past few days have been utterly boring , I love being out and about, not sick at home falling asleep on the couch watching murder mysteries

I didn't weigh myself yesterday or today so I don't know if I'm up from my one day eatin carbs. One week on Stillmans and I lost about 11 pounds! This week I'm hoping to lose 5 pounds!

I had my vitamin D and Iron tested and they were both low! I'm taking supplements from the doctors and I recheck in 3 months. 4 days on the iron so far and 2 week on the vitamin D and I'm starting to feel a little better. I'll make sure I take a multivitamin after my levels go up for sure!

Everyone is doing great! Keep it up!

Kept myself busy today, it felt great to be out for a beautiful day and walking my dog through the park .

Then I aired out the house , my son gave the dog a bath and then we decorated for Halloween , time flew and all I had was coffee and unsweetened iced tea all day.

I made the rib eye steak and it was filling, now I am feeling exhausted , I am ready for some tea and bed. It feels great to be back on plan .

Tomorrow is shopping day , I will pick up chicken breast , eggs maybe some yoghurt.

Let's lose this weight , the holidays are fast approaching. We will have that wiggle room and those compliments when relatives notice the slender you !

I shouldn't have to worry about the holidays this year. So far I have no plans so I'm thinking it will be a party of one this year. Which I won't complain about because then I have total control on what I have near me so I don't go crazy and eat off plan foods.

I am having eggs for breakfast and pork for lunch. I am down a lb today even with my added veggies... Either I wasn't eating enough before or my scale isn't working because this doesn't make sense that I am losing this much but I am gonna go with it haha maybe the woosh fairy just came?

I bough some vitamins last night because I have been super hungry, I am thinking I am lacking some things so hopefully this helps with that!

Hey I made a post and it disappeared!

I am having eggs and pork plus my dukan veggies.

I am down a lb today I wasn't expecting much of a loss because of the added veggies but I am not going to complain lol!

I have not been able to find oat bran this go around. I am thinking I may need to go to a health food store.

Question for American friends: Is it hard to have thanksgiving so close to Christmas for you guys?

I am having a hard time getting fully back on plan because thanksgiving is 2 weeks after my bday this year and I kind of have that mentality of well I will be eating lots then. It is why I am adding veggies this week to keep myself low carb and I hopefully also won't have a big jump in weight

I know for me with all the Xmas parties and stuff December is pretty much a wash I just try not to gain weight in December instead of losing lol

Although I am trying this stress free approach of whatever will be will be I still think about this stuff a lot, I hope to get to a fully stress free approach but maybe I think too much for that haha

I have diet anxiety especially over the holidays . I try my best to lose weight before the holiday for the wiggle room , After the holiday I spend weeks getting back to the weight I was . I am technically losing what I gained to get back where I was. I hope to go lower than what I was

I had chicken breast with adobo today , unsweetened iced tea and coffee black .

I am craving sweets like chocolate covered pretzels and I took midol to relieve the pms symptoms, I take vitamins in the am with a glass of lemon water. It's a multi vitamin for woman over 40 .

I am exhausted again, could be the pms or the cold recovery that's just not completely gone
8pm and I am ready for bed

Wow your all doing so well! I'm up a few from the end of last month but I'm sure it will go soon. Tomorrow will be a stillman day I hope to get a few. Just to rid myself of the cravings. The only difference will be a pumpkin glucomannan pudding if I feel like I need something. No dairy this time just meat and pumpkin, cause it's October.

Melissa what are you doing? I need some details.
