Sorry Still.
Hope everything comes back into control for you soon. Enjoy the meatballs tonight.

I carb loaded with food and drink plus some candy and shot my blood sugar up yesterday at a planned party. I did this last week and it really worked out for me. So here I am again. I bounced up 3 pounds! So the goal over the 6 or 7 days is to lose that plus another 3! (I will be getting back into keto as quickly as I can) I have no idea if this will really work again but as long as I lose at least 4 out of the 6 I'm not out anything as I have been averaging about a pound a week lately.

Mar the Italy diet sounds fun! 10lbs and lovely food and people.

Thank you Leanne! I make a simple sauce and I put a cube of mozzarella in the middle of the meatballs to serve over spaghetti

I was up 3 lbs today. One pound for each thanksgiving dinner I had! Haha. Hopefully I will get back into the 170s this week and then start losing again. The annoying thing about being in the high 170s is that every time I eat a meal off plan I end up back on the 180s!

I am changing my October goal to losing 10lbs from this weight instead of the beginning of the month weight. That seems more doable and less stressful!

Well I was down 1 this morning, but I feel like all I've done is eat today, so tomorrow is anyone's guess. I still think I'll see a good drop this week if I can keep the next few days under control.
3 pounds for three dinners sounds better than my 3 pounds for one afternoon!

I just bought a ton of ribeye that was on sale yesterday. Hubby and I are very full at the moment!

Still!
Pick up and dust off. Just take it day by day. It doesn't have to be all about monthly weight. Try and just make a few good choices and get back onto a plan. It's not all or nothing.

I must be a rubber ball as much as my weight bounces around. I'm weigh the same now as I did when I started the month. But I'm on a plan and it'll come off if not right now within the next few weeks or so. (I not so secretly hoping now or rather the next few days)

Carbs are very hard to stop once we've giving in to them. Just know if you can just get past two days the third day is so much easier.

Sending you happy low carb thoughts!

I get quite nervous before the holidays because everything revolves around food and my biggest gains are always around this time of the year . Each year I try to do better . Here's to good ol' ribeye !

So true ! I am surprised at how many recipes can be made lower in carbs and no one can really tell . One of my favourites that I made was the tuna dip , or ball made with cream cheese

Happy Thursday !

I have such a love/hate for this diet I love my results today! the scale dropped 2lbs of the 5lbs from being off plan.
The hate part is sticking to it and play the waiting game for results.

I am going to make chicken tonight and stick to it as long as possible. Maybe some cod fish as well.

I am going to enjoy my coffee and plan out the menu for Halloween maybe some spooky spicy jalapeños low carb poppers

Have a great day everyone !

I thought I posted yesterday but apparently I didn't.

I was down .5 yesterday from my 3 lb gain. Didn't weigh today because I slept in but hopefully down a bit more.

I have fallen back into my old habit of losing during the week and gaining on weekends. I gotta get my butt back in gear! We don't have anything that involves eating until November 8 ( doing an Italian cooking class) so I have to get low before then! And I have to keep losing other wise I will never reach my goals just stagnate here which is what I did last year at this weight and now I still weigh the same!

Thank you Mar ! I make the spicy jalapeños with cream cheese and I season the cream cheese with chilli powder & cayenne pepper a lil garlic and onion powder, then I wrap bacon a half strip for each half of a jalapeño . Bake till bacon is crispy 400° oven for 10 minutes , keep an eye not to burn, then cool serve with ranch dip or salsa ! Congrats to you Mar as well ! I am always proud of my low carb friends, this is not so easy this diet , let's make this year different

Well I made a spaghetti noodle and cheese with meatballs for dinner last night. Super low carb but with all the porkrinds ( in the meatballs ) and cheese I'm up a little today. My carb loving family all enjoyed it!

Thank goodness it's a DD I feel the need to diet! Lol as much as I love it cheese is not my friend. Stillmans today and tomorrow! I can do that!

Mar that I totally get it! I am a great loser till I get to the 130 area then I get, complacent? I don't know maybe just lazy. It's hard to lose those last few when you've lost so much and "people" say "you look great just eat "" add food here" "a little"
Or I think I've lost all this and everyone else is eating or drinking I should be able to as well. So I do. Then I end up gaining back 20 ish pounds or more. And I battle back to the same point year after year..... My old maintenance plan lol

We can do this!

I am now down a lb from thanksgiving. I have been eating beggies so that's why my loss is slower but I am still losing! It's the one time a year they let us were jeans to work and it's a pizza lunch for all the staff do I made sure to wear my tight jeans so I won't be tempted to eat pizza and get bloated haha

Here's to a good weekend for everyone!

New here...wanted to say hi 👋

Hi!! I've been pretty much lurking through the boards and reading for motivation and then I figured, why not join in?? I'm doing stillmans just officially started again...yeah...this past Monday and So far so good! I did stillmans after having my son 2 years ago, lost my 40 lbs of baby weight (yikes) plus 15 more lbs then slowly fell off the wagon and the weight crept back up. I'm at least at my pre-baby weight now but I still have a lot to lose. I'm 5'3, I'd like to get down to 130 and then go from there. I'm at 186.4 as of this morning which puts me down 7.8 lbs since Monday!! I've been very strict so far, 2 eggs mixed with ground turkey for breakfast, I haven't been hungry for lunch so far, and then egg drop soup for dinner (sometimes with cut up boneless skinless chicken breast or thighs thrown in)

I've been inspired by all of your posts and successes and thought it might be fun to join in!! Happy losing!!

MonaLiza! Your menu is right on ! Give it time you will reach 130 lbs with QWL and determination!

I had 2 HB eggs today and coffee for a late lunch . Tonight Bacon & Eggs . Yesterday I slipped up I had a neighbour over and some wine and more wine and I figured why not snack a lil well the scale wasn't smiling this morning and me either

I am doing well today and I am going to be alone for dinner tomorrow my plans for supper fell through my son and his friends are going to some haunted house of some sort .

I am saving that cod for next week . I need the higher fat atm to banish those carb cravings .

Here's to losing

I was the same weight today as yesterday (181). I am happy to stay the same on a weekend instead of have a gain. Breakfast this morning was chicken filets and tonight we are having steak with veggies and the leftovers will be be my lunch tomorrow.

2 months until my trip! I hope to be 165 by then! I keep thinking if I had been good from my bday until now I would be closer to that goal but I should think that way because that will just make me go off plan. Every time I am sad about being overweight I eat, it doesn't make sense haha

Still awesome job! Do you find it's easier to rag on plan when eating alone?

Monaliza: we are pretty much to the same weight and my final goal isn't far from yours, let's do this together!

Leanne: how was work? Did you need the tuna?

I've also ben lurking but decided to jump in! I'm starting tomorrow! Breakfast will be 2-3 poached eggs and green tea
I have tuna, burgers and chicken breasts in the freezer so I'll figure out the rest tomorrow

Happy Stillmanning!

So I'm down .2 lbs, So 186.2 At least it's a loss I guess. I was running late this morning so no time for breakfast, and didn't pack a lunch, and I felt like I couldn't find any good options to pick up at work. by the time I got home from work and got settled it was 8:00 so I had a couple hard boiled eggs...i need to prepare better so I have snacks to just grab and go, a couple hard boiled eggs is NOT going to cut it!

StillTheOne - thank you for the welcome! Congrats on the loss today, that's great! Deviled eggs sound good and a nice switch from a plain hard boiled, I'm gonna have to make some up tomorrow!

Mar - We can definitely do this together! I think you could hit your goal for your trip in 2 months Where are you going?

Marz - you sound ready and prepared! You've got this!

Wishing everyone lots of losses tomorrow!
