Happy Monday !

Wow that went quick the weekend that is !

I lost another lb. I am sticking to deviled eggs for breakfast and bacon and eggs for dinner . I will keep eating like this till I finally get into keto and feel less hungry , I want to be able to give up the cheese sticks I ate 3 of them as snacks I ate a total of 6 eggs , 5 strips of bacon and 3 cheese sticks through the day .

I had to bring my plants mostly succulents in because its getting chilly overnight. I need to find space for them near my sunny east facing sliding patio door . I am thinking of making macrame plant holders for them , keep my hands busy and mind off of food

Off to Michaels arts & crafts today ! Enjoy a wonderful Monday loss everyone !

Happy Monday guys! I'm so excited to start! I see some of the gals are eating bacon on the Stillmans! I have a huge pack in the fridge unopened - nice to have that as an option too

I've eliminated cheese altogether - it's a trigger food and it gives me bad acne

Marz, I eat bacon and higher fat to keep me feeling full . Then once in keto I am not as hungry I back off and go more lean and QWL .

I do the same too! Really helps with ten cravings at first! And usually once I am in keto I don't want the high fat as much, just occasionally.

I did not weight this morning. I woke up super bloated and not feeling well so I didn't want to see a gain. When I first woke up I was thinking I know I shouldn't have eaten that bad food! Then realized I didn't eat bad food I just felt like I had because I wasn't feeling well. Funny how the brain works! Whenever I diet I dream of eating Doritos and wake up feeling guilty until I realize I didn't actually eat them haha

I am feeling better now and just ate breakfast so here's to a good day and then week on plan!

If I don't eat enough I don't lose weight so don't be discouraged! I find meal prep is the most important part of this diet, I always cook food the night before. I will take 4 chicken breasts to work but only eat 2 I just want to be prepared because the second I am hungry I start craving bad food.

We are going to the Dominican, I haven't been before so I am not sure what to expect but I am excited!

I read something in the globe and mail about how eating 20 g of protein at night will help with muscle building or at least no muscle loss . I am going to start trying that tonight and see how my loses are this week. It also mentioned how your body can't store protein, so any extra eaten goes to waste. Which we sort of knew doing stills and how we can eat a bunch and not gain unlike carbs that your body stores. Just a good reminder of why this diet works!

Aaah so the fat is a tool to help to get into ketosis to curb the appetite and then it's an easier transition to lowering fats.
That makes sense
I'm in between jobs right now so emotional eating is at an all-time high (I'm hopeful to find something very soon though, I'm staying in positive spirits!)

But if the craving monster gets a hold of me, I'll know to grab some fats - a fatty piece of meat or bacon!

you got this ! I choose a rib eye steak and bacon & eggs sometimes I had steak or ham & eggs still lost weight I eventually change my menu to include fish & chicken , egg whites .

Happy Tuesday !

Mar, Lucky you ! My oldest son was married in The Dominican Republic last summer 2015 . It's beautiful and the fruit tasted fantastic papayas especially! The mama Juana is a special drink I sipped a few times and rum pronounced like run there I loved in my pinacoladas also presidente beer . I ate a plantain dish called mofungo. My friend from Puerto Rico made a similar dish like that for me . Have a great time !

The scale didn't move, I suppose it's the veggies I ate ? I made an English breakfast for dinner and added some sautéed mushrooms and tomatoes. I will skip the veggies today. I do so well on a losing streak then I start adding veggies again . I keep telling myself add veggies as maintenance.

Today I hope to do better !

It's TOM and I was up a lb today. I am not gonna weigh again til Friday. Today is chicken and broccoli for lunch but not sure about dinner yet, probably more chicken lol

Stayed on plan today, yeah me! lol I am enjoying a cup of hot spicy broth to keep my salt up. When I go strictly low carb I know I get night cramps in my feet if I don't keep a little extra salt. It's a fine line between to much and not enough!

One day closer to Friday!

I am another lb.down and surprised because I really indulged .

Ha did not get what I was hoping for this morning I was down about a half pound so I'm back to 127.2. Today was an up day and I had 4 chicken wings and a handful of nuts and 4 slices of roast beef for lunch. I was full. I grazed the rest of the day on some veggies and .... a few veggie straws with hummus. I also had a couple of bites of rice. Flipping carbs are too easy to find. Stayed well within my range though. I m trying to remember what else I had... I'm not hungry so I must of had something...
No matter now it's time for bed. Goodnight Still! Goodnight Mar!

Happy Thursday !

I am tired of me doing the scale yo yo! I am to blame though, I did fine all day, till close to bedtime I caved in and snacked on chocolate covered nuts with tea I told the kid this morning go eat them all or hide them from me! I can't be trusted !

I will try and be good today , I go shopping and I buy things for Halloween and I don't touch that, I touch the small boxes that were already opened, no one will know just me and the scale , I said to my son this morning did you know there's chocolate covered nuts in an opened box ? Yeah so he says lol I'm like can you please eat them all or hide them if you don't like them. He has the nerve to say he doesn't like them and I loved quite a bit of them last night , I guess I just needed sweets .

I am buying Mio today and starting over again.

I hope you all have a lovely on plan day

I weighed myself this morning even though I said I wouldn't and I haven't lost any weight! I wasn't great on Monday but I have eaten on plan the last 2 days and nothing! It's frustrating but I am trying not to eat my anger away.

I will keep being good and hopefully next week things will be back to normal.

Doing well over here. Going grocery shopping tonight and I ordered plastic containers with compartments for meal prepping. My old containers either got gross, went missing, or lost the lids so I haven't been packing my lunches lately. Oops. But I think I'm overestimating portions since the cafe at work portions the food. Which is very different from obsessively measuring every little thing like I would typically do. Being super honest that I need to fix that asap. Goal for Dec 31 is 179 so I am going to have to really push myself.

Well my DD was plagued by almond butter and hummus... still kept it low but not anywhere near what was planned. I'm not sure what will happen in the morning but tomorrow is a new day and I'm so happy it's FRIDAY.

Here's to getting back into the swing of things!!

Mio is great helped me get through the day for sweets !
Bacon ,eggs and sausage for dinner a 3 hard boiled eggs for breakfast and a scoop of tuna salad for lunch , I have been hungry more than usual lately .
Tonight tea before bed then hopeful for a kind scale in the morning

Mar, you are doing good. Just keep going. 2 months is plenty to get that weight off.

I got all my foods and everything so I can bring my lunches again. Upping my workouts so instead of 5-6 times a week I'll be doing double workouts 4 times A week with a 5th day being my current duration. Going to try to keep that up until the end of the year. I really want to bring in the new year in the 170s even if that means 179.8 haha. Gonna go hard until then but I don't want to burn out come new year so after that goal I'll go to a more reasonable routine to keep going. Channeling my inner Beyoncé to go hard and slay.

Hmmm. I think tuna salad sounds super! I think I'll go ahead and make some up so when hunger hits I'll be ready. I will be useing a low fat but still low carb mayo as I do tend to eat more fat then the good doctor recommended.

Today is an up day so I'll most likely not lose but I'm happy not to gain! Although I 've been losing after up days lately and not so much after DDs....
I just want to keep it clean.

The scale is the same that makes me sad

I have a busy week a head of me more people than I expected are coming to the halloween party all I request is that no one shows up as a creepy clown I am going to start decorating indoors this week pinterest is just wonderful for DIY halloween decoration and snack ideas .

I was down 2 lbs today! With how I have been on weekends I hope I just maintain. Went grocery shopping so I can make lots of food ahead of time this week and get back on plan. Having the inlaws over for dinner Sunday I will have to figure out what to make.
