Finally back down in the 40's and have to keep it there.....

I always worried about theatre seats and to buckle up my seat belt on airplanes...but now that I have lost that 80 pounds ....I fit...it is funny the small things we can do now give us so much pleasure...like taking walks with my grandbabies...going to the zoo etc....and not being so tired out and just playing with them....

Everyone have a great weekend and Merry Christmas...love ya all

Great job.It feels so good to be healthy and enjoy life to the fullest.
We have to take care of our bodies and it takes hard work to get it back and to keep it.
We all know how to lose weight and do exerciseing.< yes, move the body.
Just watch those slips up and* regains,There will always be hoildays and parties.
Just have to re think what and how much we eat. and if we want to eat more or bad carbs. then we know there will be a gain.
Our bodies any way seems to lose and gain 1-3 lbs on its own.{Water mostly.
So as the New year is around the corner>No matter what Jan.1st saids>loss or not or holding, it is what it is.We know what we have done or not.
Weight loss is slow. And I think we all should know by now what to eat and not.@how much. Calaries do count.
It was so hard for me in stores with all the bad stuff. pies ,cakes.ect.
But I passed them by and I will this weekend.{I did For Thanksgiving.
and I plan to watch my portions too. and then hit the Ymca and do something {Detoxing
I will weigh Sunday Morning and just see ,. If scale is good that makes me want to really watch.
Some times, I wonder why so many just keep useing food as being happy. When here we all try to be heathier and lose weight. Why keep going up?and eating bad carbs?
But here I have done the same. But this year. My goal is to work harder and not keep regaining.
Scale is just numbers. and not the whole part.
Have a great Christmas and enjoy.

I'm so happy to see a different, lower number. I was a little worried since I didn't walk yesterday and I did have 3 cheese dogs (bunless) for dinner. I've been working on eating cleaner.

Kit, I hope you break into the 20's for Christmas.

Tomorrow I'm planning on eating turkey and veggies and low carb cheesecake, so I don't let another holiday set me back like so many times in the past.

Good luck all!

Dang, back at 238... But, I only walked a mile yesterday and had two cans of black olives, so calories and carbs were okay, but not great, and sodium was through the roof. I am not planning on overindulging today, though, so 237 should be back soon.

Great job getting into the 20's, Kit.

Merry Christmas, All.

I got through Christmas without any candy or stuffing, but still overdid it a little on brussels sprouts and bacon plus low carb lemon cheesecake bars. I am a bit surprised by the gain, though. I'll be totally back on track today AND get 3 miles in, so I'll be expecting a whoosh tomorrow morning.

Sven, Judy, Thank you for posting your not-so-pretty daily truths! It made me feel a little better about posting mine! Needless to say, we have work to do! I enjoyed Christmas. . .Obviously!

I got up out of bed this morning, and tripped over something. . my Belly (no, not YOU Belly, but MINE). That's where I see and feel the 10 lbs I've recently gained.

I feel physically drained, in pain again (because of the carbs and extra weight). I'm READY, y'all!

Back to work!

Not quite a whoosh, but at least it is the right direction. The sidewalk at the park was so icy I only went around the track once. Today should be better. One happy note from this weekend is that I want to the movies and didn't have any movie snacks. It was okay and gave me a great feeling afterwards. When I want something yummy I try to remember that the pleasure from eating it will only last minutes, but the pleasure from not eating it will last days or more.

Woohoo! So happy my party is over and it was a success! I was so far behind I wasn't sure I could pull it off but of course it came together in the end. I barely ate anything during the day and working non-stop so I did have a few treats last night - some mashed potatoes and a few small pieces of fudge. So happy scale hasn't bounced back into the 30's. Hang in there all, we can do this!

So true. And really I think the pleasure only lasts as long as it is in my mouth.

Ten years ago, i embarked on a low-carb lifestyle and once upon a time I was 305/215/199. Then DW had to go ahead and have our second child (ok, part of that was my fault) and so we had a two-year-old and a new born. Between the lack of sleep and the holidays, my diet exercise plan was torn to shreds. And bad habits returned. Once more into the breach my friends. Once more into the breach.

Big time water weight drop swooshie! This is what happens when I stick to the WOE and have NO sweets, and NO coffee! (my coffee is light and sweet).

I have a hot date on New Years Eve! Hope I can get more of this off before then! Nothing like a little incentive!

Hope everyone has a great day!
