I'm not really sure. I will be doing well and taking my vitamins well into a few weeks and it seem that my weight will go up and when that has happened I have notice that I am hungry more. It's probably just in my head. I am trying to take them again and maybe if I push through I'll get over that "phase". I feel that while I'm in IF I need to take them.

I was spot on yesterday! I was able to overcome a Red Velvet Cake craving. Plus it is out of the house. We sent the rest of the cake with my MIL. All of the Christmas cookies are almost gone. At least the ones that I liked are. Today I will be going to the store to stock up on some LC foods and get some lunch foods for my kids. They start back to school tomorrow. It'll be good to get back into a routine again. I love it when they are home, but my routine seems to get messed up and that's okay as long as I'm on plan. My two year LC anniversary is coming up in February and I'm hoping to be well on my way back to where I was this time last year minus the Gallbladder issues.
Have a great Tuesday everyone!!

I was very good yesterday. Breakfast was coffee with Splenda and heavy cream. Lunch and dinner were brussells sprouts, bacon, and cheese and stuffed mushrooms. Cashews were the snack. I walked 3 miles. The scale should not have gone up. I expect an adjustment tomorrow.

Terri....I blew it too. But I "did" end December a "little" lower than it began. I'll be back on plan soon. I "know" this works and "owning" it when we aren't working it at least keeps us accountable.

I hope everyone sticks around too. It helps all of us to have people who know what this WOE is all about and who realize that
Even though we do give IN....we won't give UP....

Well, back with my tail between my legs....uggh...hoping this time I've learned to plan for the unexpected! So many things happened last month that I wasn't prepared for...being out of town all the time wrecks havoc on my eating and working out plans! But here I am again. Spent yesterday cleaning out the pantry, fridge, and freezer. Made my legal foods and will be back at the gym tonight. Let's do this!

Good morning all! Tami, nice job avoiding the red velvet cake!!! I love sweets, and wine....I've learned to keep them out of the house if I really want to do well....because ignoring them when they're around is more stress than I need!

Oh my gosh, back to work today after along holiday weekend....it's tough!!! Gotta get my mind back on work!

Have a great day all!!

Well I knew I blew it and I know that I will change that number to a lower one. Yesterday I was on board and it felt good.

Angela thanks, I'm still in pain but at least it is getting better and this is day 4, the heating pad really helps with my lower back. How is your foot doing?

Pawleys14 you are doing great, what an inspiration.

To everyone else, we've got this, we all can do this! 2017 is a new year with new goals and new friends.

My goal for the year is to loose 5 pounds a month, so by the end of the year be 60 pounds down. I won't be at my goal but a lot closer then what I am now.

Have a great day everyone!

5 years later, I dont think my goal weight is legitimate so Ill try for 130, I just want to be able to wear and wash&wear size 10, is that too much to ask for, I dont think so. I weighed in this morning at 142, so 12 pounds to go. I am finding it easy to live with this. Way of eating. Lost my way with dating and then meeting an Italian...oh my do they like their bread and pasta...but we have it under control now..salads, protein and just a bit of that other stuff.... I definitely want to enter my 70's fit which is creeping closer in June. LOL.

So excited to see everyone's progress and enthusiasm this month!

Ang, boy I understand all that pain. I still have hip pain some, but it used to be plantar-faciitis, back pain, sciatica, leg cramps, you name it. I tried all these methods of pain relief and ibuprofen, but you know what worked? Getting 20+ pounds off. BEST PAIN RELIEF OUT THERE. This is my MANTRA. FAT HURTS. I don't want to forget how much it hurt!! I'm really rooting for you!

Belly? where you at? What about Laura?

Happy hump day! Already!

It's always fun to see those first few pounds come off quickly after a break. I think it helps keep you on plan better those first few days.

Yesterday, I only drank 44oz of water. I've set a goal of 132...long way to go on that! For breakfast was a piece of sausage/cheese crustless quiche, lunch was broccoli cheese soup, dinner was another piece of quiche. I did have 2 oz dry roasted almonds for a snack. Really wasn't hungry. I also did three miles at a 3 incline on the treadmill. Felt good to get back at it. Have a repeat plan for today.

Let's do this!

Moving right along. I know it's water weight, but I can feel the difference already. I don't have that horrible bloat and I have energy and feel focused.
Everything is quiet right now here at my house. The hubby and kids started back to work and school today and WOW the silence is nice, but I do miss them. I made some delicious fat bombs last night. My crazy son was working with his dad on the computer and he looked over at what I was mixing and said, "Mom is mixing her up some diarrhea". I thought I was gonna fall out in the floor from laughing. That kid is something else. I told him it might look like diarrhea, but it doesn't taste like it. I love that big Moose of a kid!
My brain is already hurting this morning. I got up at 5am this trying to get some things done before the kids got up and started in on balancing the check book and it usually balances nicely, but this last month something got messed up so I spent most of the morning trying to find the mistake. I was able to find it and it's taken care of. Paid some bills. Straightened out by big pantry. After the Christmas cookie baking rush and all it got all kinds of messed up. Now I've got to run some errands sometime today. Getting back into a routine. I love having a routine. Anyway everyone have a great Wednesday!
Happy Hump Day!!

What a crazy year last year! I'm glad it's over and life is moving forward. I missed you all so much! I had my youngest daughter and my grandson here for 2 weeks in December and we did EVERYTHING we could think of! Baked, cooked, ate out, went to the zoo, went to Six Flags, went shopping...went shopping...went shopping...lol. They left 3 days before Xmas and I've spent the past week in bed with pneumonia. What a way to end the year! My daughter and I spent New Years Day planning our menu for the entire month so that we stay on track. We're back on another Whole30 which is by it's nature low carb (with no sugar, no soda, no sweeteners of any kind, and no processed food at all, just real food cooked at home) I still have 4 days of antibiotics left but other than that, I'm on the mend. I'm glad to see so many old friends and so many new future friends here Have a wonderful day all!

Remember - "owning" our choices is half the battle! Chin up, lovelies!

Still holding.
Going to gym do weights, walk, Swim, and then go detox with sanua, and steam.
I want to get to 123 so bad and be normal weight.
And then head for 110
But so slow. But I'm doing it and stayed with it almost 4 years this coming April 1st.
You sure find out what that body can do, when you stay with it. Even through slow.
But Almost there.
This is going to be a great year for weight loss for all of us.

Scale is moving, I feel good. My husband is very pleased with my weight loss. He's never ever asked or even mentioned about me losing weight but now that I've lost some he's very excited about it all. He thinks I look amazing, I think I mostly look the same. lol. Nice to have the positive feedback but I do need to focus on the fact that I have so much more to lose.

I totally agree Terri, I was in so much physical pain last year, I pretty much lived on Tylenol and Advil. Now I only take something if I have a headache which isn't often.

Angela, glad to hear your first day back to school went well. My daughter is 12 and I agree they are sweet at this age

My goal for the year is to loose 5 pounds a month, so by the end of the year be 60 pounds down. I won't be at my goal but a lot closer then what I am now.

Have a great day everyone!
