I had to go to Lowe's after work today so it was dark when I got home....I know I walked a mile at least around that place looking for stuff and back out to the car twice for list and phone....and today at work....up and down the stairs at least 10 times and walking around there too. I'm going to have to count that as my something for today! It's been a yucky day in general today. I think I'm going to go on to bed early now. Is 7:30 too early!

leisha- You need to get yourself a pedometer! That way you can keep track of your everyday walking and might be surprised how much you do!

Found out that sizes aren't all equal working on my other 16's NOW Zipped and buttoned with much less muffin top and I can wear them in public

So didn't get my treadmill workout today but cleaned my church today and we have soooooo many stairs. I climbed up and down those stairs today and that is what I did.

Let's keep moving!!!

Walked today but without the dog because she has an injured paw. I hope it is better soon because I don't need another bill for the vet! LOL Her "diet" food is expensive enough as it is!

Cathie....funny you should say that about the pedometer! I just ordered one yesterday! I really think my steps will add up! I used to have one and tried to get at least 10000 per day. I hope your poor Belle is better soon!

Magie....I think church cleaning counts as double exercise! August is my month to clean at my church!

Yes Leisha we have quite a few stairs and they can be a workout in themselves. This morning I got in 1 mile on the treadmill so that is good.

Nothing for me over the weekend but it will be Monday soon.
Thanks for thinking about Belle Leisha...she seems a bit better but not sure if she is ready for the walking yet. I will check out her paw tomorrow and see what I think.
I agree cleaning anything is a good workout and stairs add some great cardio so you get and extra star Magieden!

About 45 min on Monday with Belle and she did fine although I think she tried the play for sympathy as she ran around when I let her off the leash for about 1/2 a mile...she prefers I let her walk without the leash but there are too many others walking dogs right now and I don't want to loose control of her and cause a problem.

Can I join you all? What a great little thread!! I have made a goal to workout 250 days this year. That is 5 days a week. So far, so good!

I did a hour long workout today. Was about 50 minutes of step aerobics and then 10 minutes of ab work. Was an old firm VHS! And oldie, but a goodie. Kicked my tail.

Hope to get in at least 30 minutes tomorrow. Maybe Leslie Sansone or the elliptical. We shall see!

Hey Stacey!! Of course you can join! You are such a dedicated exerciser! I check in sometimes just to say hey and cheer the others on! I'm waiting for my new pedometer to come in before I start reporting my "something" every day! I'm having the hardest time with the moving this time....the food part has been easy compared! I'm blaming it on the yucky weather!

Cathie...I'm glad Belle is feeling better! Well you and Magie and Jeanie all just blew my yucky weather excuse! You all found something to do indoors!

Well, I walked to the mailbox at the end of the drive and back in the freezing cold.....about half a mile. But I did go up and down the stairs and all around at work again today! I wonder how long it's going to take for my pedometer to come? I ordered it as a "Groupon" thing and got the 40.00 pedometer for 10.00. It will probably so complicated I can't use it....I'm sure my children can figure it out for me!

ooops forgot to post that I did something yesterday. I cleaned my church again and went up and down many, many stairs so that is something.

Last November I made the mistake of trying to do a "real" pushup from the toes...........and I couldn't even do 1!!! And it was my lower back that was weak, not my arms.

I am up now to 10, so I make sure and do at least 5 or up to 10 EVERY day. I was really impacted by that moment. Also picked up Jorge Cruise book of 8 Minutes. So try and do a few minutes every day.
