Tip 1: stay on plan
Tip 2: if you somehow fall off plan for a meal then by the time next meal comes around get back on play then follow tip 1.
Tip 3: don't get discouraged because the process isn't magic and it will take time.
Tip 4: don't set unrealistic goals. 8-10 pounds maximum a month only if your on plan and working out. Don't expect more. If you do lose more then congratulations, but don't aim for unrealistic numbers.
Tip 5: start immediately. The earlier you start then you can fight off extra weight gain from waiting and you can cut down on time spent to reach goal.
Tip 6: falling off plan for even just 1 meal can set you back so see tip 1.
Tip 7: this is not intended to be a lifestyle diet.it is for weight loss so put in your time, get it over with, and then you can maintain however you choose.
Tip 8: if you can't stay on plan then time to reevaluate your process. Think of what is motivating to you. You need to refine your process. Start with emptying all off plan from house.I take one day at a time and have a checklist on my calender-- on plan?--workout?--water?--visualize my future self?--supplements/vitamins?. And everyday I check yes or no for each category.I also have a motivation board.pick something that engages your mind. Weight loss is a mental game.

Yes once the mindset of this particular diet is not permanent everyday is another day you can mark off. I'm down over 40 pounds from my highest weight and I'm still dropping weight. Its a mind game that you can win.

I'd like to add one more thing....

Have foods on hand, ready and prepared ahead. When you are hungry and there is nothing quick and easy to grab, it's easy to grab the wrong choices!

It's always good to have leftovers in the refrigerator for a quick snack or breakfast. Also - if you have some time on a Sunday afternoon or whatever, pre-cook a few items or make them ahead so you can easily plan/grab/eat dinner the rest of the week without being hungry, tired and tempted to just make do with whatever.

If you are baking, roasting or grilling - make double and save the second for another meal!
