Blech! Well despite staying on plan strictly and eating so many eggs over the past few days there it is. The real bounce. I knew it was coming, I realized despite drinking a lot of water I wasn't peeing much. I'll just keep doing my thing, I know it's water and the scale will move in a few days or so. But that is why I didn't want to celebrate. Next time we can. All the water retention has interestingly made me feel better for the most part. I'm not lightheaded anymore and muscles are not fatigued as quickly. So I guess that's good.

Stan congratulations on Onederland!

To those with the whooshes... ENJOY!

ONEderland! How long has it been?? How's the weather?
No idea really. But many MANY a moon!

Whether the Weather's fine is all in my head. DANGIT Terri, I feel terrific and have for several months. My hips hurt, and it's hard to carry around such a YUGE brain all the time, but everyone's got is cross to bear. (just kidding about the yuge part)

Seriously, You guys must jump in. No matter your age or weight. Returning to normal sizededness is pretty sweet. There might be a lurker out there....somewhere who might just cheat the undertaker for a few years....just by hanging out here. Wouldn't that be awesome??

If I remember correctly, The Fast 48 was your idea, and it moved me off my mini-stall. So appropriate thanks are due!

48 is fairly easy to do, easy to break....what's not to like....IF you are already a fat burner. If not... it sounds like the end of the world as we know it. Isn't that amazing??

<EDIT> Charlotte, I know how it feels. I love most everything about Fasting.....except that Blasted Bounce!

But fasting will produce fat burning, PERIOD. End of discussion. And it DID FOR YOU! The only caveat, is that if you are close to goal weight, extended fasting MAY cannibalize a bit of protein to keep vital functions humming along. (Excluding diseased individuals of course) If your fuel storage is already OVER filled, Fasting taps into those stores like NOTHING else can. And, IMHO... the slickest path to Nirvana is Low Carb Intermittent Fasting.

I've noticed from the many years ago when I was on Atkins that the lbs. will go down, down, down, stall, stall, up, down

Interesting how our bodies adjust to our dietary changes. I will say, having a support group makes the days when the weight goes up, easier to deal with!

Lylotte, Looks like Sept. is a really good month for your program. Keep up the good work.

Not complaining about the overall progress so far this month. I'd like to see it starting to move downwards in the next few days just to prove to me it doesn't hate me. Cuz honestly, sometimes I wonder.

Now that being said, I'm going back to IF 20/4 starting Monday. No longer than that for the next while. But for the weekend, I'm going to try some new and favourite recipes, starting with wings and cheese sticks tonight, lasagna made with cabbage instead of pasta and then round out Sunday with some fathead pizza on Sunday. I'm looking forward to the challenge of trying to convince DH he should do this with me. Needless to say I'm also stocked on real bacon, his weakness... muahahahahahaha
