Total loss for February = 4.6 lbs. I'm a little discouraged, but I barely walked when I was on vacay and had a hard time keeping track of calories and carbs without my food scale and online tracker. It was either too rainy or cold to walk at first, then I got a horrible cold for the last half. I feel better now, though, and am ready for a successful March!

Some of us have done great! Goldwingnut, 13 was terrific, then Judy at 10 and Gail, Lois, and Sammi at 8. Good for you all and any other big losers I missed.

Kitkat you stay at it, sooner or later things will shake out in fact all of us lol...it's been a n odd month. Besides any lose it a good one!

Today I discovered that my mayo has sugar in it!! And of course I've had some everyday with lunch . My keto stixs went from pink to barely pink since Monday and I couldn't understand why ha! I'm not yet so savy regarding all the names they sneek sugar in yet but bet I will be making a list!

Lost 3.5 this month. Not good. I really should be losing at least 5 pounds per month. It really was the two days eating poorly. I can do one meal but not two whole days. Live and learn.

These past two days have been Benchmark testing. We test for reading and math to see how the kids are doing at this point in the year and decide if any need some more intensive tutoring before we give them the State exam in early May.

Its NOT a fun two days. We can't do anything but stare at the kids as we "actively monitor" for almost 4 hours. We can't do any work at all. I do alot of thinking and I will jot stuff down. Its a pretty boring two days. I also ate more than usual. I had a snack mid-morning of walnuts and Brazil nuts and usually I don't. Of course after the exam the kids are antsy and a little crazy. I guess we teachers are too.

I did get my scores back and most of my classes were highest of all the teachers. That makes me so proud of them!

I didn't see a new thread, so I'll post here for now. If one shows up later, I'm in... at least for March. It's been kinda fun to play along and make some new acquaintances.

I fasted Monday and Tuesday, but did add some bouillon because I felt pretty bad, honestly. The salt helped.

So, predictably, I'm down today but the fast was necessary to restore my motivation after wiping out last weekend for 2 rotten, steenking days. Shame on me. Complete disaster.

I may fast today too. If you haven't fasted, there is something for you to try. It's hard to start though. But after a few days you stop being so hungry. This I know, 100%. For me, the hunger lasts about 5 days, then poof! Days 1 and 2 are just ridiculously hard. Days 3-5 are a little better, but I've never started a fast before, while being fully "KETO adapted". So I'm curious.
