tomorrow's the big day, ff...did you lose your voice from the fall or from being sick?...

i guess the shower was fun...charisse was here for the weekend and left this morning...4 of my 5 kids were here yesterday...i'm 100% recovered, and hope i will be allowed to see my grandbabies sometime this week... :-)

slow day today and then in full swing with mediations tomorrow...how's everyone else doing?

Happy Birthday FF!!

The weigh loss challenge at work ends this Friday. I have 5 pounds to lose! Blame the steroids! One more day of them. I'm gonna try my best, even found the clothes that weigh the least, yes that's pathetic

Glad to hear you're mending FF.

Guess who made the 3% today?! 3.38% to be exact. I'll stick will Stillman yet another day, but Thursday I may add a salad for lunch. I'm sick of eggs and tuna!

Happy Valey-tine's Day! A dozen different colored roses and a bag of Russell Stover were waiting by the coffee pot this morning. That might get the old man out of the dog house for a bit.

Happy belated birthday FF!Hope you are feeling better and can sing along with your operas now!

Chris, good luck Friday!

Tony, Sarah and hubby WILL live in the states won't they?

Still feeling motivated. Have gone from the sub sandwiches last week to tuna and egg salad this week. I made some goodies for my shift last night but didn't touch them!

thanks for all the birthday greetings y'all...

i just finished listening to TRISTAN UND ISOLDE; one of RW's shorter works-only 4 hrs and 7 minutes. i also enjoyed, just before the opera began, another TBLSPN of my pb of choice. after JEOPARDY, i will finish the Chinese ribs, IF i get hungry. Love & Profits: FLATFERENGHI

abs, the plan is for them to live in london for a year or so and then move back here permanently...we'll see what happens...i think it's hard for them to know how they're gonna feel until they are in the situation...

happy birthweek, ff!

chris, awww, how cute...i didn't know that 12 different colors of roses existed...congrats on the weight loss!...you made quite a comeback! :-)

Thanks Tony! I'm a cheap @$$ and want my 20 bucks back We had one drop out today, said her 3% was beyond reachable in 1 day and was headed to McDonald's LOL Two have threatened to dis-robe everything before weighing

I still plan on living on tuna today, I found some different flavors at Meijer last night. Bacon! And something spicy with Mexican sauce I can't pronounce.

The herd got a Valey-tine dinner of shrimp linguine in a garlic cream sauce. It needed more garlic and it wouldn't thicken. Also baked a cake for them.

Any plans for the weekend? I think archery county tourney is Saturday. We made it to state again, barely!

Turkey wings sound good!

4.71% officially on the challenge. After I weighed in, I scarfed down a bacon sandwich on lc bread with mayo. YUM! Lunch will be taco soup with shredded cheese on it. I even brought a pickle just 'cause it sounded good

My plan for Saturday after archery is to clean our bedroom, it looks like a war zone with bags of clothes for the Salvation Army plus the clothes ripped/stained that I just dumped in a pile.

Have a great weekend!

I just ate the best thing ever. The herd had our favorite pizza so I made a grilled cheese with the topping from a slice. OMG it was awesome.

THANKS, TONY.

progress is slow, but there IS progress. my voice is coming back, SLOWLY. i was able to call for delivery today, 1st time in a week. i am NOT using my misfortune as an excuse to cheat. i DID have a few 10 gram days, though. still physically weak, and i MUST be very cautious moving about. incidentally, earth bro and sis-in-law had equal bad luck with their flu shots too. perhaps, next year, i will remember to insist on a CLEAN NEEDLE! Poor FF! You could almost have starved to death! Glad your voice is coming back!

Chris, what a great idea making a grilled cheese/pizza sandwich! I have gone from pumpernickel bread to rye low carb bread and it would work great for this.

Tony, know you are in hawg heaven having those sweeties around!

Hey Vicki! You are soooo close! Keep up the good work!

It's been two weeks since I got back serious am finally down 5 pounds!

Good morning all, am up early from a muscle in my back not cooperating.

Lasagna today for the herd, so I'll make Linda Sue's spinach lasagna for me, with leftovers for lunch at work. But instead of following the recipes and making layers with it, I'm mixing it all together and adding some twirly noodles I got from Netrition. It's gonna be good!

Archery county tourney, Thing 1 ended 3rd with 280, Thing 2 had a 268. The team finished 2nd, the old man (aka coach) is pissed from a few members not showing up. It was county tourney, you think they would have showed.

Only laundry today. Have a good Sunday.

starve to death, Abi? not bloody likely!

i have enough calories stored in me to last for at least a year or two! perhaps, after all that, i can ask Chris to have Thing 1 & 2 to hunt me some critters. i survived another night of productive coughing (lots of phlegm). regrettably, i must call tomorrow to postpone dr visit till the Ides of March, and the labs. not quite ready for prime time. tonight will be more House Special Soup, and sauceless ribs with Chinese mustard. GOOD MORNING, GRANDPA TONY...

delighted to hear of impending blessed event.. there is a chance i might get out on Friday, on a short trip to barber and bank. if my friend is not working overtime, on sunday, he may be able to come over and get started cleaning this place. he will be suitably compensated. today's challenge is to go down the hall to the incinerator room. little by little, i am picking up the pieces of a shattered life. Tony, are you called Grandpa, Gramps, Paw, what? When we become grandparents, we'll be Glam-maw and Grump-paw.

I spent my biggest loser money at the Amish store yesterday, lots of different cheese, found spaghetti sauce with 4 carbs per half cup! I hope it's good.

No breakfast, not hungry, lunch will be leftover spinach lasagna, a salad for dinner. It's Fend For Yourself Tuesday but I told the kids I'd bring them Subway.

The local Dairy Queen's are now open for the season, I had a whole conversation with myself yesterday on stopping or not. Not sure if I won or lost, but didn't stop.

gee, Chris..if i could have done that...

i would not have retired. i am starting to feel better. i slept the sleep of the dead, uninterrupted by coughing fits. when i awoke, it was only 10:45pm. it seems i was out for less than 90 minutes, but the most refreshing sleep i have had in 2 weeks. instead of running the risk of tripping on those gray sweat pants, i now run the risk of tripping on my beard. this troll really needs the services of a barber. it is 4:05am nyc time, and i am wide awake. i am going to program some Gregorian chant on u tube, and lie down again. maybe i will fall asleep, and maybe i will not. Glad you're getting closer to normal FF, well, your "normal".

We won't discuss dinner yesterday, but with the headache I had, I really didn't care. I'd classify that one as a migraine, there's just a little tiny hint of it still, just enough to be annoying.

Lunch will be yesterday's leftover spinach lasagna I left at work, a big salad for dinner maybe breakfast since I think the herd is having that.
