Should I weigh before of after cooking? I could swear they told me to weigh after cooking...Thanks Lisa

There can be a wide variance in water (and fat) content after cooking, so what would you use to determine macros?

It's one of my pet peeves about bacon packaging. Their label usually says, "2 pan-fried slices". Does that include the bacon grease in the pan? What if I fry it to a crisp versus still soft and "wet"? I suspect the only reason they do it is because otherwise the fat and calories would be much higher. But what if I want to chop up the raw bacon and throw it into a recipe?
