Ketosis and extended exercise routines

I'm mainly talking cardio here (namely stationary bicycling).

A couple of years ago, I was able to put 7-9 hours of exercise in per week, most of which was cardio. My weight loss was pretty disappointing, though, I suspect that was for various reasons.

Anyway, today is day 14 of Atkins induction to which I've not strayed one bit. But, since day 3, my ability to push beyond 30 minutes has been almost non-existent. Once I hit that wall, it's just general fatigue and I can manage to squeak out 10-30 minutes more, but it's next to impossible to push hard enough to come close to my target heart rate.

Is this typical of early stage ketosis and will go away once my body becomes adapted to the diet or is this something that I should consider a challenge that I have to push through?

I am currently awaiting major back surgery so I am currently only walking. I routinely do a lot of cardio while low carbing. Take a look at the 2017 exercise thread past posts and current. Enemysugar and I both low carb. Look at her stats she started in January 2017 and credits her success to both low carb and exercise!

once you stick to it for longer (low carb, lots of healthy fats) eventually you will have more energy. Say after about 6 weeks? Your body needs to make the switch from burning carbs, to burning fat for energy.

I think I found the culprit: Dehydration

I was drinking plenty of water, but I wasn't actually taking electrolyte supplements (aside from taking some additional potassium to prevent muscle cramps).

Since I started taking a pill with 5 different electrolytes, I find that my workouts are similar to what I would have expected prior to the diet.
