Maintenance is just as hard (so far) as I'd remembered.... from the last time I lost weight. Yesterday I did GREAT! Monday, not so much....

This evening Michael and I hit the gym for Our Weird Weekly Workout. We spend more time talking and laughing than lifting. Another month and we'll have a better idea of whether it works or not. But I'm optimistic. I'm seeing about 20# increase in all 5 compound "lifts" over what my loading was the first of November--with more time under load.

So.

The Queen and I went to the game last night when the WSU Shockers hosted South Dakota Jackrabbits. I secretly expected it might be a Wichita blowout and I was WRONG!!!!! WHAT A GAME! We were behind 30+ minutes out of the 40, at HOME(!) no less.... and during the first half, the Jackrabbits made us look pretty bad. They shot lights out in the first 20 and our vaunted defense couldn't seem to slow them down much. We managed a comeback and won 95-85 but it all happened during the last 8 minutes or so, and the score is NOT reflective of how tough a win it was.

Wow! I'm sure glad the game lasts 40 minutes, instead of 30!

I had no business of going, I'm so behind with my printing. I MUST get at after it.

Terri you sure have more faith in me than I DO!

But I sure know how to lose weight and I guess even if'n I flub up now and then on maintenance, I can shed it poste haste.

So, I've got no excuses, right?

I am stuck here, on this forum....and I have no choice but to weigh every day and check in on my peeps. No regrets there!

Body being stubborn, don't care, I will beat it just like I always do.

My run went ok this morning. Wednesdays are the days that I have to get up early and run by myself. I hate running by myself.

I was supposed to do 6 - 6 minute run / 1 minute walk intervals, but I only made it to 5. If I was running with a group, they would have pushed me to get the last one.

I still feel pretty good about it. According to my Milestone, I ran a little over a 5K. yay!

So busy today. I'll have to catch up on reading later!

Shannon, Yes, it is very exciting news! I still can't believe my first born is finally engaged. I don't mind saying he took long enough. LOL! I can't wait to see him this weekend. He is flying in just for the weekend. I hope he is ready for 50 wedding questions.

Amelia-b, I have no idea if something happened with the boards. I have only been around a couple of months. Sorry! I wish I could help.

Stan, I hope you are getting your work all caught up. My work day was crazy busy.

Michael, You may not have made it through the 6th round. But, I think 5 intervals are noteworthy. I am sorry to hear about your half brothers loss. You are so right, we should be intentional with our time and with all of those that are important to us.

I have a planned cheat meal tomorrow night. I had an unplanned cheat last Friday for lunch and it didn't affect my weight loss, but I can't always be that lucky. I'm trying to be really good until tomorrow evening.

I may have to start a fast {Of some kind.
Just seems that I hit a wall ,on fasting.Have not done one in 2 months like I did at 0 cals.for 7 days.
Plus, getting back to detoxing{sauna@ steam room.
and getting back to walking,jogging and weights.{Soon.

Good morning, it's dark and the air is full of smoke and ash. My home is in a mandatory evacuation zone as of 5pm last night. yeah, left the scale behind and totally stress eating. Wish me luck!
