TGIF you guys.... Another Stillman's week almost DONE!!

Today has been a very wonderful day of NO ONE (except for the boy at Wal-Mart) talking to me.

I am just doing whatever I want. The kids went on a field trip, so I'm able to do stuff without their intervention. Initially, we were supposed to leave for our trip today but DH ended up having to work. Which is not bad actually. It has given me time to get organized and strategize so I don't fall off the wagon this weekend! No gas station snacks for me. I've told Jeanie before that 'protein bars' used to be my downfall - and usually when on a road trip I'd think 'these aren't so bad' but that was always how it started with me going back to my old habits.

I didn't make it back to Costco. The traffic is just so bad over in Burnsville, yo. I decided to just go to my local Wal-Mart for now. I went on a little spree... Crystal Light, a million pounds of ground turkey, two things of Fage, two of FF cottage cheese, Winky diet jello (you'll have to pry that from my cold dead hands), instant coffee ("Christian Crack" my clients affectionately call it), some 90% lean Angus beef patties, eggs, Zevia, gel polish, and then of course all the kids carby snacks they requested... GREAT VALUE trail mix, Teddy Grahams, Pringles, etc etc etc.. that was my haul.

I came home and started prepping food.. turkey breast roll ups, hard boiled eggs, ground turkey to put into Gladware. I decided to fry up the Angus burgers too. Of course I set the smoke alarm off. It's very loud and blares "FIRE FIRE FIRE!!!!!" I do this everytime I cook, or shall we say fry something. My next door neighbor and his wife are local police officers, and I saw he was home... I expected him to come and see what all the ruckus was about and I'd have to tell him it's just me prepping my Stillman diet. Now the entire house smells (and I do as well) like a greasy spoon.

I tried to log into work email and I'm shut out of the system for some reason, maybe I entered the wrong password too many times.. at any rate, God could've done that to keep me out of work business when I'm supposed to be enjoying FAMILY TIME and SELF-CARE!

I'm really excited about the 127. I realized I haven't weighed this weight since last October!! Every time I am feeling this good I always wonder HOW do I let it slip away???? I think this time I've found something I can live with. In time I will up the fat and all that but I know that carbs and sugar need to stay out of my life.

I will check in and post via phone over the weekend. Hope you all have a wonderfully on-plan day

And yeah, "POT-O-PUKE" hahahaha... Classic!!!

in honor of you girlies who are kicking behinds right now... I will have a burger bowl tonight if my chicken isn't edible after being slo ro'd again. lol

I am loving the sriracha sauce.. I swear I can guzzle any condiment. lol I even have to be careful with that!

That fruit punch will stain! But its sooo good. I usually water that one down a bit.

Yes, I hold it WAY out when I'm drinking it and sort of bend at the waist. One day I was wearing white pants and I knew that was a mistake because I'm kinda clutzy at times.

the grape is a nice treat, but also very strong. and I also get the pink lemonade, and raspberry lemonade.

I just tried watermelon (new flavor) for the first time the other day. It was just ok.

I stay away from the ones with orange in it..leaves a coating in my mouth.

Seriously, anyone out there that doesnt drink CL and successfully does Stillmans deserves all the credit in the world. xoxoxo

Crystal Light, a million pounds of ground turkey, two things of Fage, two of FF cottage cheese, Winky diet jello (you'll have to pry that from my cold dead hands), instant coffee ("Christian Crack" my clients affectionately call it), some 90% lean Angus beef patties, eggs, Zevia, gel polish, and then of course all the kids carby snacks they requested... GREAT VALUE trail mix, Teddy Grahams, Pringles, etc etc etc.. that was my haul.

I came home and started prepping food.. turkey breast roll ups, hard boiled eggs, ground turkey to put into Gladware. I decided to fry up the Angus burgers too. Of course I set the smoke alarm off. It's very loud and blares "FIRE FIRE FIRE!!!!!" I do this everytime I cook, or shall we say fry something. My next door neighbor and his wife are local police officers, and I saw he was home... I expected him to come and see what all the ruckus was about and I'd have to tell him it's just me prepping my Stillman diet. Now the entire house smells (and I do as well) like a greasy spoon.

I tried to log into work email and I'm shut out of the system for some reason, maybe I entered the wrong password too many times.. at any rate, God could've done that to keep me out of work business when I'm supposed to be enjoying FAMILY TIME and SELF-CARE!

I'm really excited about the 127. I realized I haven't weighed this weight since last October!! Every time I am feeling this good I always wonder HOW do I let it slip away???? I think this time I've found something I can live with. In time I will up the fat and all that but I know that carbs and sugar need to stay out of my life.

I will check in and post via phone over the weekend. Hope you all have a wonderfully on-plan day

And yeah, "POT-O-PUKE" hahahaha... Classic!!!
You have had a busy day! I'm glad you were forced to not do work and focus on your needs for this trip. Sounds like you are set up pretty good. Have a great time with your family.

I miss burger bowls. I had forgotten about them. Next time I go to Costco I will by a pallet of hamburger.
My weirdo daughter (she is 13) LOVES my terrible chicken. GOOD! It will be gone faster if she helps me eat it. I will go back to my thighs seasoned with weber garlic sriracha seasoning. It is my favorite and will be so upset if they quit making it. I looked for the McCormick rotisserie seasoning and none of my stores had it. I may have to hunt for it online.

mmmmm. daydreamin over here.. burger bowl with yellow mustard, onion powder and a hit of sriracha!!!

I will be on the hunt for the weber stuff! That sounds like it would go really good on vegetables too!!

The McCormick "Perfect Pinches" are new, I think. They were along the top row of all the spices. Took me a while to find them when I went to a different store. There are a lot of different one, but I decided to put a stop to my spice purchasing addiction. lol

I may be wrong but does the grape have carbs? I haven't used Cl in awhile it gives me a belly ache. I used to drink the fruit punch all the time because I could actually double the water and it still tasted good. I miss CL.

Currently I mostly drink my decaf ice tea with concentrated sucralose for sweetener.

I was making my iced tea with leftover Earl Grey.. Didnt realize it has some kind of oil in it, so I stopped. I was really enjoying in though!

but to get down to the nitty gritty on CL... Im positively sure it inhibits maximum weight loss. I drink the whole 2 quarts a day. So it must have at least 8ish carbs, if you count 1 carb per sweetner/glass. That stuff is sooo fake sweet!

It pains me to say but it should probably be limited to 1 or two servings a day, like jello.

I am on water and black coffee only, you guys

Jeanie I also almost forgot I didn't answer you - but I think I'm maybe not allowed to say other retailers or brands by name? Anyway, the big online place that sells EVERYTHING, has egg steamers. I don't even know the brand. I got one that steams like 7 eggs at a time, and I think all of the brands also include little omlette trays, and also separate poaching trays. There are a lot under $20, mine is so cute and was like $14.

I am ditching the TJ's FF Greek from now on. I just tried the Whole Foods Organic 0% Greek, and it is a LOT better. TJ's was weird and fake-thick and grainy, with weird mouthfeel. WF's is like real, normal yogurt. Plus it's organic.

I am also OVER all of the flavors of La Croix I tried last week. I am currently drinking coconut, and it tastes like pukey suntan lotion that someone washed off the bottom of their dirty feet.

I am sticking to San Pellegrino from now on. This artificially carbonated, artificially flavored seltzer water is grossssss

I think in an emergency orange or grapefruit might be ok. But I don't know what KIND of emergency that would have to be. LOLOL!

PS DL - why don't you broil your burgers on a grate in the oven over a tin foil lined pan? You would get all of the extra fat out that way.... without the fat smoking like crazy.

All in all though... you guys are doing great!

I now think I am unlikely to show a loss tomorrow for the week... but TOM is KILLER for me, on the scale. So actually, I'm also at least happy that I never even bounced UP this time, either.
