Does anyone know if we can shred pork chops like chicken breast? The few times I made chops in the slow cooker they were just dry slabs. I dont want to do a fatty shoulder. How can we get low fat shredded pork?

I know what you mean about the first week being difficult. But, I have laser focus as I know 2 weeks will come and go like that!

YES, Still all the way as it is the fastest. I have this Costo Wild Caught Albacore Tuna that I just open and throw down the hatch. It's super taste as it's packed in there own juices and not water. It's the Wild Planet Brand and it's beyond easy. I will be getting chk breasts here soon as my mom bought me this Air Fryer and she swears by it! I'll give it a whirl. I will probably throw in an egg here and there just to break it up but, I'M IN IT TO WIN IT!

I don't want to be wearing my sweat pants in blistering hot weather this summer. LOL

Happy low fat to we all!

Well, day one down! Feeling good and focused. I can just about do anything for two weeks. Just knowing that school will be starting in 2 weeks makes me know that I can stay on this silly diet for at least that long. Time flies by

Im feeling pretty good. My face has thinned out tremendously with the few pounds Ive lost. Cant say the same for the other trouble spots, but I'll take it for now. The most amazing thing is the feeling of flatness/emptiness. Even if I eat a huge bowl/plate of chicken and stuff it in like I did last night..I wake up feeling light and empty. and down another pound. Its like every other day or 2, a pound gone. I am in no way bragging at all, Im just trying to gently push everyone out there considering this diet, to jump in and get really strict with it. Im definitely not implying that everyone has to eat chicken only (cause thats insane), just follow the approved list of meats/eggs/cheese, with the leanest and lowest fat possible. No fat though. I really suggest cutting out as much as humanly possible.

I love B's strength and willpower right now. Positivity is key. She can do anything for 2 weeks!! Really, anyone out there that gets through 2 weeks of QWL, will find it ever so easy to continue on if its still necessary. Its really freeing.

I am not a good maintainer, but I am a fantastic dieter, B. Too embarrassing to come back here and say I gained back a bundle, but its coming off with the quickness. The plan is to go back to plant based, with stricter maint rules in place!!

I love your honesty, Al!

Hey, life gives us lesson and regretfully, we learn the hard way. You are so RIGHT, as you can diet like no one's business. Girl, when you do this diet, you GETTER DONE! And, lickidy split, I may add. That's why I LOVE STILLS, it just works, and FAST!

I want to maintain with adding TONS of veggies and good oils with leaner meats and fish too! I know I'm not WAY OVER WT by any stretch but 15-20 really hinders my brain and I just feel yucky and not good about myself or my outlook.

I hate this Hypothyroid noise that I have to deal with; it just hinders my life! Argh!

Oh well, God is still so good and He's on His Throne watching over me! I'll be okay.

Today I've had 3 egg whites, 2 whole eggs, 2 servings of plain, cold shrimp! I plan on having chicken breast for dinner. I opened a few cans of tuna and extra lean canned salmon into a bowl and will nibble on this with mustard later if I need something to eat before bed. You know what is so funny? I actually eat WAY MORE FOOD and on a regular basis when I'm dieting than when I'm just nibbling on crap all day long. How wild is that. Also, my nails and skin look amazing when i do Stills as well. It's all the detox and water that I drink. I think my body hangs on to water like a mad dog just so I will do Stills every 5 months or so, just so I can reboot and get protein I'm so lacking in.

Thank GOD for Dr. Stillman and Dr. A. These men have saved the world as far as I'm concerned.

I can't wait for my face to thin out too (well as much as it can - I have a round face shop that was still round near normal BMI )!

Today I've had chicken and eggs.

My plan for maintenance is the same - more plant-based, with adequate protein/fat.

I have also finally ordered a Stillmans books from eBay. I always used to go with the stickies. Or there was an online copy before that you could read.

Also, just like Al, I'm a fantastic dieter (ok, just good - I tend to lose steam when I've lost enough to look good in clothes) but a horrible maintainer. I lost 50 pounds in seven months back in 2014, and I have gained 30 pounds (or maybe more - I'm afraid to weigh) since!

I'm actually going to start a strict Stillmans tomorrow, I have a spa weekend in 4 week and a wedding in 5 weeks fortunately I haven't got any plans for the next 3 weeks so have no excuses not to get into it properly this time! Overall I have approx 56 pounds to lose - is it possible to get quite a few pounds off in 4-5 weeks?

I had egg whites and 2 pieces of Turkey Bacon. Costco has THE BEST Turkey Bacon I've ever had and it really fills me up being that it's so low in fat.

For some ODD reason, this time around my hunger is in check! I'm just starting out too. Wild! I'll take it, though. There is nothing worse than being miserable and HUNGRY too. LOLO

Why is food so trippy? I mean, it's just food. Why is it so hard to refrain from nibbling on chips and pizza and such? Our brains are wired so wacky!

I want this to be my last time around this mountain. I want to get this 15 off and be done with it once and for all. ARGH. Who's with me?

Happy low fat low carb to we all!

We can do this thang.

Well I messed up a few days. It's like my brain can focus on either diet or exercise... Very rarely do the two align for long. Cheats slip in here and there. So I gotta figure this out. Ugh


Have to somehow generate enough motivation to see this journey through. Tips anyone?

I'm feelin' you, Kal! But, let me encourage you; you DO NOT NEED TO WORK OUT with STILLS! So STOP WORKING OUT!

Actually, I think it derails you and makes you hungrier and messes with your metabolism. Make all your food at once and plan for success. I lost 30 lbs. one month without moving a muscle. It's magic!

Hope this helps, and YOU CAN DO IT! Get through a few short 3 days and you'll be right as rain. Get your mind on something else, seriously, STOP THINKING ABOUT DIETING and eat when you are hungry. Rent movies or get a book and just live your life for 3 days, it will come easier, I promise!

I needed that motivational post will be starting tomorrow as have been unwel last 2 days I want to get to the stage where I am not feeling bloated all the time that carb craving and always thinking of food ... when does the cravings stop x i.e. You don't want to eat everything in sight !

I'm down 2 pounds since Friday morning. I weighed the same for 4 days, then BAM! 2 down.

Got 8 more chicken breasts in the slow cooker heavily doused with fajita seasoning. Looking forward to my dinner bowl.

Hi everyone!

I mustered the courage to weigh myself today and 196.6 - exactly 30 pounds since three years ago! Boy, I must have had a lot of fun.

Good Morning!!

Another pound down. I'm going out for dinner tonight. I will try to order plain Grilled chicken. I'm trying not to introduce beef back into my diet, but I may have to go with steak. oh the torture of a juicy steak.. lol

Amelie, in a few short weeks you'll be back to goal! Don't let anything stop you!!

OH NO!!!

Al, funny you should mention... Just yesterday the MASSIVE DEPRESSION, LIGHT HEADEDNESS, FOG, and HEART PALPITATIONS came on with a vengeance. I knew it was too good to be true. ARGH. I'm better today, but, ARGH. I took a potassium pill last night and it helped with my heart a bit, so that's good. I ate chicken cold cuts last night as I didn't want to cook my chicken breast; I'm sure there was sugar hiding in it for sure but no where near having ALL THE KETCHUP I'm permitted on the original Dr. Stillies Sillies Menu from long, long ago.

I'm def feeling smaller. I lose in my face rapidly and look like I'm not well for the first month but, I'll take it. Hoping I can get to goal in a month and then return to good fats, and all the veggies I want. I really love veggies! I crave a huge Ceasar Salad and grilled veggies. HELP GOD! Heal my brain from bad dieting, I need you!

Hey! I've been off the board, because I had to put my cat down last week. She was 17 and had kidney disease, which we managed very well for 4 years. She went downhill fast and I knew it was the time. Sad, but I'm also relieved that she is no longer in any pain.

I am off Stills for now, just trying to eat whole foods. I'm going to the ocean next week and staying at a newish resort community with some great restaurants and bakery. Looking forward to treating myself then, and along with hiking, bike riding etc. that I won't gain!! Probably back on plan after that.

Glad to see more peeps joining in. Wishing you all success... I will be lurking.

I'M BACK!!!!

Okay, so here's the dealio, Billio! OMGOODNESS! I'm IN LOVE with Kirkland's COSTCO, Ground ALL NATURAL TURKEY BREAST MEAT! It's SOOOOO DELICIOUS! You must try it along with the TURKEY BACON, and the Wild caught tuna with it's own juices. LOVE IT!

I'm feeling way better today as I was not well yesterday at all. I was so weak and lethargic and on the sad side. I cannot wait till tomorrow or the following day as I just KNOW what energy I will have by then. I'll be flying high on my ketones and ripping through the fat like gangbusters.

I'm dreaming of loaded brocolli and roasted brussel sprouts with tons of coconut oil and a huge homemade ceasar salad with a nice ribeye steak. I'll take pics.

I won't! Planning to eat chicken as my default meal. I find that I succeed better if I don't have to think about what to eat every meal.

Did you have chicken at the steak house?
