Good morning ladies! I was bummed to see the scale up a tiny bit this morning. I'm still in ketosis and the only thing I can think is that after meet and greet last night DD had a friend over and we just picked up Arbys on the way home. I got a plain roast beef and didn't eat the bun. I think I had a problem last time I tried this too. I think they must have a ton of sodium or something. Or maybe it just ended up being too much protein or food in general for the day. I usually don't eat breakfast but the last two days I have had some eggs mid morning and then a salad with chicken for lunch and dinner. Oh well, I'm still in ketosis so its all good. But I need to make some jello today so I have something sweet when I want it. I have some of the bryers low carb icecream in the freezer but its like 4 carbs per serving and sometimes that's just more than I want at the end of the day. I saw a recipe for some lc fudge that looked really yummy too, but I have a hard time stopping at one serving so that kind of thing is not good for me to have around everyday. I get tired of the jello but its 0 carb.

Kelli - what was that almond butter you get? I think I remember you talking about a specific brand that was really good. I need to make some bacon too. The problem in my house is I can make a pound of bacon and DS will eat the whole thing in minutes, lol. It doesn't last long and bacon is expensive these days it seems.

Susan - that sounds like a great way to start the day! I really need to get back in the routine of drinking my water everyday. The walk would be good too.

I think my goal today is going to be to get in my water and not drink so much diet coke.

Man am I glad it's Friday. I work this weekend so I'm not sure why but hey it's Friday at least. Scale continues to move down ... inching ever so close to the 40 pound weight loss. I'm having a problem with my clothes, however. I didn't want to buy a bunch of stuff until I got where I wanted so I've still been wearing my regular work clothes and this morning the capri pants I was wearing fell down below my butt while I was walking. I think it's time to invest in a belt. Luckily no one else saw. I know that's just a terrible problem to have. Haha. Loving this WOL!!!!!!

Didn't get in any exercise yesterday. Had to mow the yard in the heat of the day (took that long for the grass to finally dry from all this rain we've been having). Then for whatever reason my legs started aching so i sat in the infrared sauna for 30 minutes to ease the pain. I was definitely in ketosis yesterday. Can fat ache while it's burning off? LOL

Morning all! Yesterday went well. Window was almost 5 hours. Definitely had a carby day with dinner at a Mexican restaurant. But very happily the scale was down today. Yay for that! I did a cardio and weights dvd.

I'm so happy, I finally broke the 163 barrier!! I've been stuck thereabouts for a long time, so I finally feel like I'm accomplishing something again. It's much easier to stay motivated this way!

Quick post for a Friday, hoping to stay on track over the weekend. I have music in the park with friends tomorrow, so my plan is to avoid alcohol and bring a few wings and cheese to eat. I really don't want to undo my progress. And Casey, I'm going to try your idea of scheduling in some activity, although following schedules is definitely not my strong suit.

Happy Saturday! My apologies for being absent a few days but life has been hectic. This morning we are headed to the beach for 4 days so we are now packing. I plan to eat well and still get my exercise in. I even packed gym clothes so I can use the hotel gym. I feel super bloated as of yesterday so thankfully I can't weigh on Sunday! I think TOM is impacting me as my fingers are big and my rings are snug.

It's great to read about everyone's journey with clothes too big, fun menus, nice losses and great attitudes. I hope everyone has a great weekend and I will try to post more from the beach. Cheers!

Havent Worked out yet today
My sister overslept and is now making breakfast
We have to sand the front door today
We are having painters come soon to paint the outside of the house
Front doors are Outrageously Expensive
So we are just sanding ours and getting it painted along with all else
Trying to think up a theme for our new laundry room
All the rooms in our house are taking on a theme like a themed hotel
We have a Pirate Bedroom An Egyptian Bedroom
A Sherlock Holmes Bedroom that has a Sewing Room attached to it
Our Kitchen is 1930s to 1950s but we havent decided on the rest of the house
Lots of rooms left ..so we are painting the laundry room and Downstairs Bath
And have no idea what themes to use
I wanted to do a circus theme in the laundry room
But not sure my sister is very keen on it
Will be getting some exercise doing all this work though

Good morning all,

Well another up day for me I think I might not weigh but once a week. There is no point if I have so much pain and swelling and am up most of the night. I pulled out my Whole30 book to look at some recipes and to read the part on Autoimmune Diseases. I did have a nice night with hubby, though. We watched a new movie and had decaf. We have a busy day on the farm today. We got 10 new chickens from my neighbor that had the house fire. they are separated right now from my flock but two have scaly legs. UGH...now to get out the gasoline and Vaseline and treat them. This will be fun....

Good morning ladies! I was a little bummed to see only a tiny loss this morning (basically what I was up yesterday). But then TOM arrived and I figure that must be why. I was totally on plan yesterday. We took DS to see the new Pirates movie at the second run theater last night. It was so good, I love those movies! I had a diet coke and one piece of sf candy that I had in my purse. They didn't get popcorn just a little candy so I wasn't tempted with anything which was good. No baby this morning so I was able to sleep in a little which was nice. No plans for today so that's kind of nice, its been a busy summer. Hope everyone has a great Saturday!
