Hi everybody. I haven't been posting hardly on here but I also love Callananetics and have done them off and on over the years. Now I'm trying to get really serious and do them consistently. I'm doing Shaun T's Hip Hop Abs for the past couple of weeks and am loving it, but I think my results will speed up if I add in Callanetics and help me to pull in faster, given I need to lose some weight. So I'm excited and need to be held accountable about how many hours I'm doing. My favorite dvd is AM/PM and I will add in Cardio Callanetics on rest days from Hip Hop Abs.

I really appreciate everyone posts. There's one exercise I really struggle with called the thigh stretch. It's the one where you knees and palms together and put your arms behind you. I simply cannot get my thighs to stretch and can barely get one hand behind. When I try to push it more there's an intense pain and pulling like something may tear so I've given up on this one. Other than that I love all her exercises, they feel so good.

Any suggestions anyone?

Thanks so much and let's keep pulsing!

Question on new dvds

I had another quick question. Has anyone tried the new Callanetics videos? I saw something on Amazon called Callanetics Countdown by an instructor named Lacey. I almost purchased it, but since I have the 10 in 10 and AM/PM was on the fence. Callan's original videos are still challenging me, I can do all he pulses. AM/PM when I do it every day or two makes my abs quiver and I can't complete all her reps.

I have callanetics: 30 days to a more beautiful body by lacey kondi and I like it a lot, I like how it starts off with lower reps and less exercises and increases over the course of 30 days.

Colaborer, get that peach in gear!

Welcome kdoss! Interesting, I've never heard anyone say they felt a difference with the AM/PM. Good to know! Keep up the good work! Don't give up on the thigh stretch. If you're struggling with it, then you need it. try putting a rolled up towel or a cushion behind you, so you're not stretching quite so much, and lower it as you get stretched out. Whatever you do, don't rush it.

QueenBacon, are you still pulsing away?

5:00am??? Whoa! Good stuff Bronwyn!

not pulsing as much as I should be, I need to get back in gear. I have been feeling under the weather, but maybe that will help.

I subscribe to the Callanetics website to view all the videos for 9/99/month. I have used the Lacey Kondi "Beginning Callanetics" and while it's quite informative and soothing, her constant chatter annoys me. I've looked at a few of the other, including Callan's original AM/PM but so far I'm doing well with the Original video.

As for the 5am exercise, it's about the only time I can fit it in with one session without being interrupted. There's a noticeable difference with how my muscles respond but they warm up sufficiently after about I finish the waist stretches. I'm more limber at night but doubly more lazy and inclined to blow off exercise in general.

I did another session this morning, too.

Yeah, I find that in those times I need to be extra gentle with myself, i tend to have the best sessions. Hope you feel better soon!

Started pulsing with the sunrise this morning! The light was so beautiful!

I too putter out in the evening. If I don't do it in the morning, chances are very high it won't get done at all that day.

I had to look back to see how many hours I've done Callanetics in October, and apparently I can't count! I think this morning is Hour 4, or maybe it's 5???!!! At least I'm doing getting it done.
