Started Medi 1/3/2017

On a recommendation from two brother in laws, I started Medi Weightloss this past Tuesday. I understand the principles behind it, etc.

I realize that one of the ways they drive income is their supplements and other items. I did the initial visit and got the normal items.

Observations
- I'm tired. Oh yes. I came off the holidays and went right to 8 carbs on Tuesday, and zero carbs today. Add to that I started a cardio program last night and I'm already a bit energy completed. I know I can higher on the carbs but I figure I'll go as tight as I can.

- First day I peed many times. That changed today, where I peed less. I'm sure this is my body adjusting to the Rx, and so on.

- I can get better supplements, cheaper. Not cheap stuff but better stuff, yet cheaper, or at least in the case of some of them, comparable priced (yet better stuff). I owe it to MediLoss to buy some of their products as I feel this is a mutually beneficial situation, even though I'm paying them a fee. I'll purchase certain things from them through the 12 weeks and then I'll make choices.

- As I mentioned I started a heart rate based cardio program last night. I know some don't recommend that and I understand why but I'm going to tough it out. My next class is tomorrow night and I'm resting today. I'm resisting even going out for a few mile walk because I need to be ready for tomorrow.

That's all I can think of now.

Started on the 3rd, today is the 6th but I had my "Week 1" check-in. I lost 8.8 lbs, which is good for three days. That won't continue of course, but it's fun to see.

My 12 week program is over. Actually it was over just over a week ago. Here are the stats.

Start: 12/30/2016 - 274.8 lbs
End: 3/24/2017 - 222.5 lbs
Total Weight Lost: 52.3 lbs

I think I could have done more, but generally I'm happy with the results.

Late to the party, but wanted to say great job!

Over 50 lbs in 12 weeks is fantastic, Wonder Monkey--congratulations.

How did you find the program? Did you like this way of eating? What is your plan to either maintain or lose more?
