Too few carbs?

I am a 62 year old male. I am on the 21st day of my ketonic diet.

My averages are 73 grams of fats, 94 grams of protein and 20 grams of carbs.
Many times I have below 10 grams of carbs, and as few as 5. Calories from 564 to 1794 with an average of 1136.

I went from 226 lbs to 216 in 13 days, and have stayed there since.

I am not worried about my weight since my belly fat has noticeably decreased.

I am pretty sure I'm in ketosis. I felt crappy for a while and am back to normal now and the urine strips show my somewhere north of 40 on the strips.

I'm surprised how easy it is to stay on this diet. Hunger is not a problem.

Should I be doing anything differently?

You need more fat than that but I suspect your body will tell you that in terms of hunger as time goes by. You are not consuming enough food generally speaking if you are accurate in the grams of fat/protein/carbs. At this point it is tempting to not eat because you are not hungry and that is fine but it will change and you need to keep carbs low (no carbs is okay) and moderate protein ~ fill in the rest with fat.

You seem to be doing very well. It is 100% normal to have a pause which appears to be what is happening to you at this point in the journey.

I am surprised how easy this diet has been. I was addicted to carbs, especially Cokes. I could eat half a bag of chips with cheese salsa or French onion dip. I ate a lot of candy and bread and pasta, of course. I miss them a bit, but don't crave them. I don't get hungry a half hour after I eat like I used to.

You're doing well. It's very common to stall out after a great weight-loss start, so just ignore the scale and keep with your eating plan. Don't be discouraged, it's working. Often when the pounds stop dropping, inches start dropping, especially if you're exercising because building up muscle weight offsets the weight of the lost fat.
