Eating Better, Feeling Better - They Go Hand in Hand

I've been eating very wisely today, and feeling better too. So I'm finally noticing that when I eat too many carbs, I feel kinda crummy. Do you find that too?

Today, breakfast was 2 organic eggs scrambled in olive oil, snack was a repeat of breakfast because that's what I craved. Lunch was an Aidelle sausage, and supper is a huge green salad with a spoonful of sunflower seeds, some swiss cheese, and my homemade salad dressing of vinegar, olive oil and mayo. Overall, high fat, low carb, and moderate protein. And I feel great! Not hungry, not stuffed, not draggy. I just need to remember this wonderful vibrant feeling when I'm looking at a candy bar, lol.

40winks, yes I feel SO MUCH better eating keto style. Your food sounds great. I'd have to add some bacon with those eggs I am such a bacon lover. Back in my carb overload days I felt crummy most days and didn't even realize it. Even if I never lose another pound, I am happy that I feel so much better, have the energy to do everything I love doing, and have such a better attitude.

Keep up the good work! Sounds like you are doing good with keto.
