Leonard weighs about 4 1/2 pounds. Up from 3lb 13oz. So at least I am reporting someone's weight!

Lol.. Yeah, Leonard. I could give him a few pounds!!!!

Karen....good for you!!! You are on the right track.

I had a naked chalupa at Taco Bell. It was slightly spicy, but good and low carb.

Up around 2# for the month, but I'm ok with that considering everything I've been doing. But yes, I will donate any that Leonard or anybody else might want or need.

Went to Dillard's and got my dress/jewels/shoes. The dress fits, but will fit better when I lose the 10 pounds. It was 99.00, but went to the checkout and it came up 39.00!! The sparkly grey shoes were a bit more..lolol.

Was 161 today. Down one pound

Len needs about a pound so if you could send that over, that would be great!

He will take a couple of licks. He ate more of it when I wasn't syringe feeding him. Lewis LOVES it. I can't open the can without him being right there.

I can do it....

Well, for the Rehearsal Dinner, I'm renting real plates from Party Pro..The kind I like are
only .40 cents a piece..(square) and the dessert plates are .35, silverware is 1.00 for 4 pieces..I'll use nice plastic glasses. She wants the Rehearsal Dinner to match the wedding
colors..Navy and grey. Will get white tablecloths and navy napkins. I have a friend who
is good at centerpieces..I think I'll get some artificial blue hydrangeas and have her help
me make them. I like to get things lined up and not wait until the last minute, KWIM?

Hope you are all okay....

Sounds very nice Carolyn. I too like to not wait until the last minute to get things done. I have some friends who do that and it drives me nuts!!

Lewis is a cat after my own heart..

Judy, have you been to Foolish Things Coffee House, 1001 S. Main? This is where we are having the Rehearsal Dinner. The pictures looked nice..They have help there, too..Help
is good.

Did some exercise..Boy, when I do that in the afternoon, I'm tired..I'm tired when I don't
have caffeine really..really.

LOL..I was on FB today and a friend from church who went to her grandson's wedding had
my dress on..LOL..She looked good in it. They won't be coming to our wedding, so it doesn't matter..

I bought some of those Konjac oat fiber noodles..You have to buy 24 packages..It is pretty
good and figures out to 1.70ish a package with shipping.

Windy day and supposed to be stormy night..

Hugs all around. I am having some chicken broth for a snack.

ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhh, my life gets so complicated sometimes. Sorry I've been gone about 5 days. Crazy around here. I know your lives get that way too.

Cindy....you are too funny. At least someone is not worrying about their weight around here (Leonard).

Carolyn....Great dress purchase. I love it when the cash register rings up way lower than the price tags. And you lost a pound or two....yeahhhhh!!! The wedding and rehearsal plans sound wonderful. It sounds like you are enjoying all of the planning.

I see Judy hasn't posted I bet things have gotten difficult with her MIL's situation. Keepin them in my prayers.

Did any of you get the storms that went through tonight. There were tornado warnings starting down in your area and worked all the way up into northern Minnesota. We got a tornado in northern MN (minor damage...thankfully), the earliest tornado ever recorded in MN. Crazy year....one for the record book all winter long.

After a crazy week last week my calendar looks normal for this week so I'm looking forward to lots of legal food this week and hopefully a weight loss at the end of it.

We did get storm warnings last night..a bit of hail..There was a big tornado in western Kansas.

Oh...Brett got the results of his MRI yesterday..He has 2 torn Labrum, which is the thing
around your hip socket..Sports injury from Krav Maga kicking..The dr. said he needs
injections (outpatient) and PT. I asked him if he needed to be driven to the outpatient
if they are going to knock him out..I hope they do...as I can't imagine that would be very
much fun having 2 big needles in your hips..Cindy???

Judy is probably working and Sandy is having lots of fun..(happy...)..Cindy is busy with work and Len..and Lew.

Fred has had lots of those injections and they do NOT put them out. There's some lidocaine in the injection to help lessen the pain. But they will probably not wanting him driving right after, although my SIL and my DS both have. LOts of injections in our family. Hips, shoulders, knees and backs. Multiple times. So sorry he's now joined the injured joints ranks.

I am having lots of fun!! I'm making a big pan of chile rellenos to take to a block party this evening. I was not happy to hear of the golf ball sized hail that hit our BRAND NEW ROOF!! We've been praying for a big hail storm for years with nothing and now that we finally had to break down and buy one so we can sell the house.....ugh!!! Oh well, nothing we can do about it anyway so I'm just letting it go.

Sandy..we have a brand new roof, too, but maybe there wasn't damage to replace it up there.

Thanks for the information on the injections..They are doing one at a time and he said
he didn't need us to drive him. They are doing the first leg next Tuesday.. Brett played football and his knees needed help, too. He has thick thighs, which doesn't help with leg stuff. Maybe Sarah will drive him, but she has a job, too..Oh well..Its not too far from his
home.

I made the Rehearsal Dinner apple cake..Sugary, sugary..I got the recipe from KSU and it
fit nicely into a 9 x 13 with a little extra for a mini cake. It is going in the freezer for Friday
night and I want to see how that works, too. I do think Apple Cake tastes better the next time when the apples dissolve.

Hugs......

Hi all,

So sorry Cindy about Len. He has been loved well.

Sandy.......awww, your poor roof. And I'm trying to catch up on your house story. Are you building a house or remodeling. When I started with all of you I went back and read some of your back posts to try to learn about all of you and I could see that you were doing something but couldn't quite follow what was going on. Hopefully your insurance will cover it but of coarse there is always the deductible, hopefully your's is not too high.

Poor Brett and right before his wedding too. I hope the injection calms that right down. Maybe he needs a piece of that nice grooms cake while he heals up.... ha ha.

Does Judy go out of town to work or is it seasonal and a busy time? I hope her MIL is comfortable.

Karen, we are downsizing and moving into a co-op that is being built and will be done late summer or early fall. So that's why we're working on our house and getting it ready to sell. We'll be doing that in earnest when we get back home.

It sounds like our roof is going to be ok. I'm not sure about our son's roof yet.

Yes, poor KU. We are so sad for them.

Hi ladies,

Thanks for the Brett thoughts, Karen. I think it will be fine by June.

I think new roofs can take more....at least I'm hoping. Our poor roof was 20 years old when the big hail hit a few years back, so it didn't stand a chance.

Off to Hobby Lobby to look for rehearsal decorations. They are having a sale on garlands, which I might use for the tables.

Judy does sometimes work out of town.

hugs to you all. We got some colder weather today!

He is so cute. I'm so sorry.

Well, the last I posted last month, we had just put my DMIL on hospice. She died 3 days later on Friday. We are all just shocked. So last Friday I went to OKC to be with all the family, all the grandkids came in, etc.

DD went BACK in the hospital with hugely high liver levels. She just got out yesterday, so missed her grandmother's service. This has been crazy. We came back once to be with her, but had to hightail it back for service/going over the house/finances/things - you know.

Just got back yesterday evening and am working (from home) today. It is pretty hard to get my mind wrapped around all this.

Congrats to anyone who lost weight. I have eaten things I would NEVER have eaten. HA HA! Now am back to IF-ing and low carb. I really feel much better IF-ing and low carb.

Sandy I'm glad your roof wasn't destroyed. And I love how much fun you all are having!

Carolyn I am fascinated with your getting things done early. WHAT IS THAT LIKE??? I am Mrs. Last Minute, I guess.
I haven't been to that coffee house. I might take DH soon so we can see where you all will be.
How is Brett doing after the injections, or is that today??

I must know if you like the oat noodles better than the konjac or whatever I get at Wal-Mart. I am fine with the regular and have been really interested in the oat ones. Where did you buy them? We use the regular ones quite frequently.

Karen, thrilled to hear your weight is going in the right direction!!

So sorry for your loss of your MIL. That did seem to kind of spiral downhill quite quickly once it started. I sometimes think that's for the best for all concerned, especially her. I know I'd rather go quickly if I'm going. Well there are no "ifs" about it, are there? When I go no matter how I go, I pray I go quickly.

And your poor DD. I'm sure that was very upsetting for her to miss her grandmother's funeral, plus being ill herself.
And you guys!! I bet you are dragging after all you've been through. I wish you could just take a few days and get away to decompress. But of course, there's work, and life in general and time just keeps marching forward.
Prayers for you and all your family. And hugs!

Again, Cindy, I'm so sorry. May your pretty kitty RIP.

Carolyn, you are so smart to do all this now! Good for you!!!

Oh my, Judy. Praying for God's peace during these difficult times. So sorry about your Dmil. If she did have PF, that is a very difficult road. Poor Dd....what do you think made her liver levels go up????

Brett has his first shot Tuesday. I think he will be fine.

Yes...I bought a big box at Walmart to put my table decorations in..My talented friend will help me on Monday. . I will post a photo if they look good.

Hmm...little Leonard did look pretty thin in this photo. I hope Lewis is adjusting.

Dh is helping the pastor paint the inside of his house. his good deed.
