Hi...

Well, that antibiotic kept me in the bathroom all day yesterday, so I stopped it. It's clindamycin for my tooth infection. So, hope I am okay to see the kids tomorrow... Not eating much today. Iwas taking a probiotic whic didn't help much. I'll go Tuesday to the dentist and see if he can give me something else not so damaging to my innards.

hope you all are okay!

I really don't like that antibiotic! Besides what it does in the short term the side effects that can happen down the road are very scary.

Ok, our building officially opens Oct 20 at noon!! We had to choose 3 times that you wanted to move in and then they'll put together a schedule. Two of my choices are on the 20th and one is on the 21st. I can't wait!!! We'll only be in there 5 weeks before we head to Texas. I figured up that this whole year we will have lived in our trailer 38 weeks!!! It sure doesn't feel like it but I counted twice! That's counting the rest of the year coming up too. And we still love it!! That's a good thing.

Weight, ugh. I'm still up those 3-4 pounds on some days, some days I'm down a few but then bounce back up. Hopefully I can maintain that gain without adding to it. I think the hardest part might be over after this weekend. All the holidays are done for the summer.

That is a killer of an antibiotic. Going to avoid it like the plague. I have been taking my probiotics in hopes it repopulates my gut.

Oh how fun... glad you are moving in before the very cold weather. You have been on vacation all year, Sandy! Your RV was a great investment.

Saw the kids in BArrow yesterday. The apartment looked amazing! The bathroom had never looked so sparkly. They are doing well. We will go up to the KSU-Baylor game the end of the month with them.

Akk...during my problems, I ate rice and bananas. I am scared to weigh. Back on track today.

I'm sure Judy is at the lake. It's supposed to cool down tomorrow! That will be nice.

Is there an echo in here?

Some Florida friends are hunkering down and some have left. Smart Betty her dh and kitty left Tuesday and are in Georgia until Tuesday. The highways are squished now.

Helloooooo. Yes I do believe there's an echo in here. Still living at the lake but have a move in date of either Oct 20 or 21st!! We have our first walk thru this Thursday!! I sure hope I love all my selections that I chose. If not I better get used to them fast!! Lol.

Still struggling with those extra few pesky pounds, ugh. I hate it that weight control is so difficult!!

Hello.

I.
Am.
An.
Idiot.

I couldn't figure out why you all were so quiet! And then I realized we were in an entirely different month!
SHEESH!!!

We have been at the lake a LOT with Lindsey and almost 4-yr-old Maddox and 9-month old Milo. It has been heaven, I must say. The weather, the togetherness, all so wonderful. Since we know it will be sold sometime, we're really soaking it up.

Sandy, I am sure that RV has been the best investment! You all have not made a wrong turn yet!

Carolyn I hope your tooth is okay! Antibiotics are so difficult. You need them, they are hard on you, you need them... ugh. Hope you are doing all right now.

My dear departed cousin Lisa's mother came to Tulsa as a refugee of Irma and we will send her home tomorrow. No damage to her home in Orlando and her electricity is back on, so she's ready to go. I don't know when we've had such a nice visit, probably because it is just her and not the whole group. She got to spend a couple of days with her sister, too. She's at my mom's tonight and I'll take her to the airport tomorrow.

Hugs to all of you!

We were worried about you, Judy..The weather is amazing for going to the lake..Glad you are enjoying it.

Okay..yesterday I tried my first soft contacts and they were amazingly comfortable. Soon
much better than my gas perms, which I haven't been able to wear for a year. Now to get
the script right..

Monday is my dentist appointment..I think the infection is cleared up and I will probably have him re-do the root canal..Then Tuesday I get a hearing test..Duh..I went to the ear
doctor and she wants my tooth dealt with first.

Poor Lisa's mom..Glad she had a nice visit. Glad no damage was done..My 3 high school friends who moved to Florida were fine..And Betty K. was fine, too..They evacuated, which
was fine.

My friend is on a New England Canada cruise this week..Hope Jose doesn't find them.

Saw the newlyweds on Monday..They are fine and cute. Sarah said she was cooking healthy for Brett..He is the heaviest he has ever been..I think he got our fat genes.

Happy to see you, Judy....and I'm sure Sandy is enjoying the RV still..Her kitchen looks amazing...

Health report: I have TMJ.. went to the dentist and he said my fillings were very shiny from grinding my teeth. So, I have an appliance I got at Walgreens. Plus my root canal will be redone in October.

Hearing test tomorrow which I will ace. Chance to go to Aldis!

Oh, and my dr upped my thyroid to 4 grains of Natur-thyroid.

I have been enjoying cappuccinos at Mc Donalds for $2.19. I get a small and they add Splenda instead of the sweet stuff.

Reporting in.

Oh wow - I've had TMJ for years. I had an expensive appliance made by my dentist at the time. Never got used to it. Every now and then my jaw pops out of joint and it hurts. Almost always after I yawn and fail to put my fist at my chin. I am usually very on top of that.

HOWEVER I'm now interested in that expensive thing they do that keeps you from snoring. SS has one, actually is on her second one. They have a relatively short lifespan, but she says it really works and now she can sleep on her back. I want to sleep on my back, too!

Enjoy your Aldi run! I love just looking around in there.

Wowee 4 grains!
But whatever it takes.
It's like they say on my type 1 page - you don't worry about how much insulin you take, you take enough to keep your blood sugar in normal range.
So, same for the thyroid - whatever it takes to keep everything going smoothly!

I'd love to be able to sleep on my back! Well, I only sleep facing away from dh because his cpap machine blows air like a whale in my face. So I think this is what caused my TMJ, so the Internet said to put a pillow between us. EASY fix.

I am hoping the 4 grains will speed up my metabolism to normal. Lol

I've never heard of the expensive snoring stopper. Of course, with a cpap, there is no snoring. yeah.

I think it is an appliance the dentist puts on the inside of the bottom teeth.
Then at night, you put something in your mouth that fits to that thing he put on the inside of the bottom teeth.
I am speculating....

I sleep very well on each side....UNTIL THE HIPS START HURTING!
I don't want a lot of joint replacements, but if one can't sleep, I guess that's what we look to. Ugh.

I hope 4 grains will get you revved up!

Good morning! Sorry about your hips! Is your bed comfy?

Well, the pillow between us really stopped the flow of air! Easy fix.

Off to the cracker packer this am. It is always a fun time to feel good...

I am also hoping for a revving up..lolo

Have a great day ladies..

I think my bed is comfy, but it's not really that new.
I don't know, I think it's me.
It's something that's actually been happening since my 40s.
I notice it a lot more now, though.

Enjoy Bville!

Bartlesville was fun..I have healthy ears, but have had some hearing loss in the high tones..birds, etc..She said most people will lose the high tones first because it is at the beginning of your ear..But, no hearing aids..Now to get dh in there..LOL.

Cranky hips are not fun. Sometimes I have them and need to do more stretching..

Made those peanut butter cookies with Sukrin syrup..They are very good..Best lowcarb peanut butter cookie.

Well, I wish you wouldn't lose any hearing, but at least it's minimal.

Whose recipe for the best lc pb cookie?

I think we all lose hearing as we age. Honestly, the beeps were so faint, you really had to concentrate. Dh would get an F. He can't even hear me from the other room. Lolol

I think the Sukrin people invented it..have you bought any of that stuff?

A couple of years ago I had their syrup, but now I have vitafiber, which I think would be about the same.
I have Sukrin gold right now - it's like brown sugar.

Could I find the recipe by going to their website? I'll go look.
I didn't see a recipe for peanut butter cookies.

The recipe is: one cup of peanut butter, 4 Tbs. of Sukrin..Mix well and roll into balls and flatten them on a parchment lined baking sheet..Bake at 325 for 10-12 minutes. Let sit
and cool very well..

I think this stuff is good if you are constipated..

What's up? A bit of housecleaning this week as kids are coming Friday, then to Topeka overnight, then to Manhattan for the Saturday game.

I love that frozen rice cauliflower. I steamed it in the bag, then added butter. It was great.

Hello!! Woke up to very chilly rainy weather today. Summer might be over. We're on final countdown to move in. Oct 21 is the big day!!!
Three weeks from this Saturday!!!! Then 5 weeks later we leave for Texas. Yes Judy, I think our RV was a great investment for us for sure. It has been a big blessing for us too.
Sounds like you've both been busy this summer too. It feels like it just flew by!

I just made all of our medical appts for the end of the year. Our 20K mile check-up I guess. Even Bailey!

Still hanging in there with my weight. I lost back to under 145 for a couple days and then jumped up right above it for a couple days. I'm really being faithful with my fasting for the last couple of weeks and it's doing it's magic, as always. I've tried to incorporate some OMAD and smaller windows into the plan. Whatever works best for our day. And it seems to be working well for me and not interfering with DH's lifestyle too much.

Have a great day!!

Hi ladies!!

Wow, Sandy. I can't wait to see your new place via Facebook. What fun to have everything new! Are you coming back for Christmas??

Brett and Sarah babysat for her nephew while the parents went out to dinner. They spent the time at the pool. Brett said he had a heavy duty life jacket on. He is 2. Lol.. Brett hasn't been around little ones much, but it is good for him,

Shawns mother had some tests. She needs further investigation on a spot on the back of her head, which might be a cancerous growth in the bone. She finally told her daughter and the daughter isn't going to worry until the tests confirm it
Of course, his dad is still half paralyzed in the nursing home, so he is where he should be. They are both 70.... too young.

Yes, it is supposed to be in the 70's for the game on Saturday. Perfect weather. Have to find my KState stuff.

Is this Connie who is having the growth on the back of her neck??
Oh gosh - they are really going through it.
Although the daughter is 100% right not to start worrying until it's tested, I'm a huge borrower of trouble. Bless them all.

Cute Brett and Sarah story.

I should probably do one meal a day, I just do two meals or one big snack and a meal usually. Some days I eat breakfast just to keep my body from getting used to whatever I'm doing. LOL
Trickery!

Judy, I'm pretty sure my body has no idea what in the world I'm going to do next, lol.

Poor Connie. She's already been thru so much with her DH. I hope it ends up being nothing major.

Are babies in the newlyweds near future???? Grandbabies are the BEST!!!
