I am off today, and of course woke up at my usual 6 am! Sigh. I'm going to lunch today with a friend. I am leaning towards eating off plan because I'm in the zone and know it will only be for lunch. I won't go crazy - no dessert and no carby drinks.

It would be really nice, but I know it's not a 100% guarantee but I'm going to stay on track and maybe I'll rewarded.

Good to hear there are no side effects Kal!

Mim isn't it nice when you know you can have a meal off and it won't derail you?

Since I'm not getting on the scale during TOM. Im counting my last weight as end of month so I gained 0.2. Well at least it's negligible amount for a monthly gain and it's probably water since I retain beforehand. But it's fine. I will just keep moving forward

It is Saturday! I slept in this morning and plan to spend the day catching up on housework. I've got to run to the pet store - my doggie is out of food. I'll do that this mornings that I can spend the remainder of the day at home!

Lunch yesterday cost me less than a pound. Hopefully that will be gone in the morning and maybe another one for my Monday weigh in. My body did not do well with the extra food I had at lunch. I'm glad I did the experiment, but I won't repeat it!

Hello guys, hope, all,is we'll. I'm still around just very ill at the moment. Pain everywhere . I can't even walk. Docs just give pain meds which I don't want. As soon as I'm able I'm going to push for more tests... I can't go on like this! I just woke up one morning in agony , and could not understand it. I do get sciatica but this is different. Any prayers appreciated. Good luck losing peeps and to whoever it was that asked, yes I lost 50 very quickly once I finally stuck to plan. It's been real hard trying again, I feel like the body gets smarter. Knows what you're doing lol.

3rd time is a charm? I thought I hit submit.. Maybe I didn't.

Pffft.. I had a post ready to send and lost it.

Thank you for the welcome backs.

I may have to look into Dukan. I know I need to do something!

I broke my ankle at the end of March... its been almost 8 week. I had a severe dislocation and broke both Tib and Fib. I have 2 plates and like 13 screws. Was in a splint for 2 weeks... a hard cast for 2 weeks and have been in a removable air cast ever since. I am suppose to take it off several times a day to stretch the tendons in my ankle. (fun fun!) As of today I am still non weight baring (bearing?) So I am stuck in my wheel chair most of the time. I hate it. I struggle daily with depression. Most days I have to force myself to get out of bed. If I didn't have my kiddos, I probably would just sleep constantly.
I go back to the Dr on Tuesday for new Xrays and hopefully good news that I can start adding some weight to my foot. I was told it could be 12 weeks so I am cautiously optimistic.
OK that is it with the negative. When I logged in here there other day I had decided to try and get through the rest of my recovery with a better frame of mind. I did manage to get on the scale. it was 229lbs Not great but not as bad as I thought for a mid day weigh in with a seriously swollen leg. I am also counting the weight of the metal now in my body.

miss911grinch You can do this. Stick around it is a great group for support.

MimSounds like your foot has had a bit more trauma than mine! Do they know why it is bothering you now? Hope you had a great day off.

MMS I used to take krill a long time ago. I should probably start back up. You are right about the vit D and calcium. I take a lot of supplements but need to add these... I am seriously going to look into dukan. I want to do Stillman because I know it works and my body loves when I am on it. I just don't think it is smart to be that strict while recovering.

Mar! Good to see you! 170s!! Congrats! So jealous!

Hannahmo That is a good loss. Keep it up!

Pounds off

How do I start a new thread?
I began today and feel motivated because it seems, from all I've read, that if you stick to the RUlES, you'll be rewarded with pounds off

So I started at 153.5 and want to stick with this for one month. See how I do.

Is there a general rule that you lose so much percentage of your weight in so many days, weeks etc.?

Lolly

Hello Lolly,

When posting a new topic, please select the forum that best relates to the subject matter of your topic.. Look for the button labeled "New Thread" in the upper-left side of the page. It looks like this: It is right above the list of announcements.

A window will pop up where you'll be able to type in the title you want to use for your thread and also a bigger box for posting the body of your thread located under the title box. Once you are finished typing your post, scroll under the box you typed your message in and click on "Submit New Thread" ...
To post a reply to a thread that is already created, you will see a button on the upper left side of the page, right above the first post in the thread titled "Post Reply" It looks like this: Click on that button and a new window will appear for you to type in your reply. It will also have a box where you can title your reply but that is not necessary to fill out. When finished typing your reply, scroll down under the reply box and click on the button titled "Submit Reply"

Please let us know if you need additional help!

Thank you!
