Unfortunately he eats as per usual ...a meat and potato man. I'm not a kitchen fan , so my meal prep has to be minimal ...hence the routine meals.

Rebooting metabolism may be just what the doctor ordered, Leona. I've just visited *** and the blogs there about" Eat more to weigh less"...interesting. I might even increase my maintenance calories to 1500 ( 30% fat or 50g, 40% carbs or 150g and 30% protein) seeing as I'm almost there. Just need to add another fruit to Phase 3 at lunchtime.

Happy to help out.

Sticking with the Phase 3 foods and worked on a menu for next week based on those numbers. It looks very appealing. I'll have 1 fast day, maybe 2. Some Nutribullet smoothies based on almond milk would be a nice change for that day.

Holding on to the 119.4 daily weigh...talk about being consistant!

Here's what I'll be eating for 5-6 days at the 1500 cal mark next week:

BRK: 30g (1 oz) oat bran, 30g berries and 2 tabsp ground flaxseed
SNK: 4 think rice cakes (94 cals) 1/3 cup hummus or can of sardines or i tabsp peanut butter
LCH: 140g(4.5oz) canned tuna, 150g lettuce, 100g kidney beans, 1 tabsp mayo
SNK: small carrot or celery , 20 almonds
DNR: 100g cooked chicken breast, 1 cup brown rice, 200g green beans

I'm working on a 5% deficit of my TDEE (which is 1614 cals), so I need to eat 1534 cals.
Macro breakdown: 50g fats, 150g carbs, 113g protein (definitely no longer low carb!)

I'm still working on the 750 cal day menu (shouldn't be too hard).

Same weight today 119.4 so looks like I'm eating the correct calories. I won't post here any more but will continue at the maintenance site. I don't think it's ethical to post in a low-carb forum, when I'm not low-carbing.

Thanks to all followers

Hi All,
Just popped in as I've started a second round of this plan...maybe someone wants to join me for a month. I'm still holding my lowish weight (118 lbs) but wanted a refresher/ metabolism kickstart.
It's a great plan and really does work.

Starting FMD

I'm putting my husband and I on this starting May 1st.

I lost a ton of weight lowcarbing over the years (up and down) and have been unable to lose without dropping my carbs and calories ridiculously low.

I'm hoping this fixes my metabolism. Just thought I'd introduce myself!

A friend of my sisters lost a lot on this plan and swears by it now. I'm going to give it a try.
