I have posted these on the "Round 2" Before and After pics thread but I will post here as well.

242 lbs lost, 25-30 more to go (and an estimated 40 lbs worth of excess skin that needs to be removed...) No surgery, no diet pills, just low carb, sensible portions and exercise.


The purple shirt was what I wore at 525 lbs. The white shirt was a 6x and what I was wearing last summer at 396 lbs. The black shirt is more current but getting baggy. That is a full size bed just for reference on how big that purple shirt is... it's a 9x men's...


This is me wearing the black shirt a couple months ago:


This is the picture I look at when I feel like I want something carb loaded:


This was about 25 lbs ago on the right:


A couple months ago, happy that a 2x top fit:


This was in a size 26 pant (now in 20/22, I started with a 90" belly...):

Wow... this is an incredible thread... so many success stories, unreal. Well, I'm going to take the plunge and post my before pic (not easy on the eyes, so beware... :-)

My story is pretty boring and typical... been heavy all my life. Childhood was pretty stressing being fat. Then went into adulthood the same, except that it was getting continually worse with each year. I now have three children (ages 5, 10, 15) and with all the stuff that's part of raising 3 kids, all the activities, PLUS a really stressful and demanding corporate job (60+ hour weeks), the pounds just kept adding up year after year. Life was misery.

Starting Stats
Date: September 2009
Weight: 225 lbs
Height: 5' 5"
Body Fat: 34%
Waist: 43 inches

Ending Stats
Date: March 2010
Weight: 155 lbs
Height: 5' 5" (<---- not sure why list this one twice heheheh)
Body Fat: 10%
Waist: 29 inches

Before/After Pics



I've added muscle along the way, but the focus was really fat loss for me. Now I'm starting to focus on adding muscle now that I can actually see them. :-)

Im trying to encourage my husband to low carb with me. Your before and after photos piqued his interest & showed that a man could do this diet, I think he was oober impressed!

Those results are not from lc'ing alone. Diet alone does not build muscle. What kind of exercise or weight training program do you follow pablo! Excellent results!
